Remembrance Day in Heanor, Derbyshire

I was passed footage of Heanor Remembrance Sunday by my friend Maria who attended the event yesterday. I have edited the footage and attached music that I believe captures the mood.

I hope you enjoy it.

Campaign Update: All Positive in Heanor and Alfreton

Our local campaign team gave away hundreds of copies of the BNP paper ‘Voice of Freedom’ (VOF) in Heanor and Alfreton yesterday. The response was overwhelmingly positive and gave yet another indicator that people are ready to grasp the REAL change the BNP offer with both hands.

The centre spread of the latest edition of VOF is a poster urging politicians to “BRING OUR BOYS HOME” a feeling that many local people shared. A local lady in Heanor said “I really hope you get elected and bring our boys home. I don’t want to see one more coffin go through Wooton Bassett”.

Others discussed with us improvements that should be made to the town and were keen to have their say on the consultation about the Local Development Framework that’s going to replace the Local Plan. Needless to say the BNP are keen to work with people to get the improvements Amber Valley needs.

IN OTHER NEWS
LABOUR'S former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott who was rumoured to be stopping off in Heanor was seen fleetingly passing through the town in his Ford Transit minibus. After getting a bad reception in Ripley he put his foot on the gas to get through Heanor as fast as he could.

Don’t Blink, you’ll miss him!

The British National Party Amber Valley 2010 Election Fund

The General Election is set for May 6th and across Amber Valley there are many potential British National Party candidates, but as you know, putting someone through an election costs money.

Since the EHRC put a hold on British National Party membership funds are running low, which means local level candidates suffer. Costs need to be met for the printing of leaflets and other literature.

Of course they are to be delivered free of charge by our loyal members, but first we need something to deliver.

Because of this I have included a donation button to the right of this blog.

All donations will go to the Amber Valley branch of the British National Party which has a very good chance of further success this year.

In the 2009 election Heanor & Loscoe came second by only 1 vote and in many areas within Amber Valley the BNP came second and third.

If we are to reach more people with the benefits of a BNP Councillor then we need your help. It doesn’t matter whether all you can afford is a few pence, it all adds up.

So, for a brighter, better future with the British National Party please donate what you can.

Amber Valley Matters Blogspot

Amber Valley has two BNP councillors - Lewis Allsebrook and Cliff Roper. They have a great blog which outlines events in their constituency and I'd like you to take a look and add them.

Below is their latest blog entry...

Euro Election Spending - BNP most cost-efficient

Analysis of councillor attendance records for Full Council Meetings since May 2008, show that Heanor East Labour Councillor Glynne Cato tops the list for non-attendance.

She has not bothered to turn up for OVER 50% of the meetings (9 absences out of 17 meetings)
However she only comes out on top alphabetically because she is joined in a three way tie with the equally useless Jo Ward (Labour, Langley Mill and Aldercar) and Barry Lewis (Conservative, Belper North).

Following hot on their heels is Kevin Parkinson (Conservative, Shipley Park, Horsley and Horsley Woodhouse) who managed to attend just one more meeting.
Shamefully, all of them claimed their full allowances.

Its worth remembering that Cato, Ward and Parkinson are all up for re-election in May.
