A spokesman for international Islamist group Hizb Ut-Tahrir has said democracy is an illusion and that the government is forcing moderate Islam on Australian Muslims.
Uthman Badar told the Today show the illusion of secular democracy "short-sold the people".
"I think people have come to see that democracy is more of an illusion in that it secures the interests not of the people but of the economic elite," he said. "What we're saying is the secular democratic process has short-sold the people and it's better that people go back to the grassroots."
Mr Badar said the government was funding inter-faith dialogues and institutions in Sydney and Melbourne that promote moderate Islam.
"All people should accept that it's not acceptable for a state to tell people this is what you should believe and this is what you should not believe," he said. "The issue is the government should not be taking sides in saying 'This is the Islam we have chosen for you — it's a secular, apolitical, localised Islam'.
"'If you do anything else, here's the anti-terror laws, we're going to chuck you in jail.'"
More than 500 participants at a Hizb Ut-Tahrir conference in Western Sydney heard on Sunday that Australia was a "god-forsaken country" and that moderate Islam was a "perverted concoction of western governments".The group is banned in many parts of the Middle East but operates legally in Australia and in 40 other countries.
Hizb Ut-Tahrir supports the establishment of a Islamic state but rejects the use of violence to achieve it.
Comment : This suggests that Islam will not tell you what to do but we all know different.
Yet another former UKIP candidate, Andrew Moffat, has announced his intention to stand for the British National Party in the Bognor Regis seat in the South East of England.
Mr Moffat has been a member of UKIP for 12 years and twice represented that party as a parliamentary candidate, becoming the highest polling UKIP candidate ever.
“After much considerable thought I have decided that the country’s interests are best served by the BNP,” Mr Moffat said.
“I am giving people the choice they don’t have with the other parties,” he continued.
“I am campaigning to halt immigration, deport illegal immigrants and bogus asylum seekers, withdraw from Afghanistan, leave the EU, crack down on crime and restore Christian observance in schools.
“Multiculturalism is being deliberately imposed by Labour and the Liberals and Conservatives to balkanise Britain and erode our cultural heritage, thus facilitating undemocratic EU rule.
“The window is closing. Within 40 years, we shall become a minority in our ancestral homeland. This is the end game — England is being extinguished.”
Mr Moffat said he had left UKIP after that party’s leadership had committed itself to “cringing support” for the multicultural society.
“Culture, heritage, history and tradition are expressions of blood. It follows, therefore, that immigration has been designed to undermine the integrity of the nation,” he said.
“Britain could remain captive within the EU for 1000 years but our people could always regain their nationhood so long as they retained their integrity as a people.
“Extirpate the people who comprise the nation, along with their cultural heritage, and it will be impossible to return to our concepts of constitutional democracy, as articulated in such great statements as Magna Carta and the Declaration of Rights.
“That is because the people who gave expression to them will have ceased to exist. What, therefore, is the point in seeking to restore the integrity of the nation state when, as a result of multiculturalism, the nation within the state will cease to exist in any meaningful form?
“The abysmal failure of UKIP’s leadership to tackle this issue demonstrates cowardice. This is particularly the case when it is evidently clear that the ordinary membership hold views on this topic that are closer to those of the BNP,” Mr Moffat said.
On Friday March 5th 2010, Geert Wilders will show his film 'Fitna' in the House of Lords as part of an information gathering exercise on the Islamisation of this nation. Agree or disagree with Geert Wilders, the fact remains that he is a democratically elected member of a fine democracy and should be welcome on these or any other shores.
After threats of 10,000 muslims on the streets' by the so-called 'Lord' Achmed last time Geert came to show his video, the spineless Home Secretary summarily banned his entry into the UK. He has since been allowed in briefly, welcomed by crowds of radical Islamists calling for him to be butchered along with the entire population of jews.
Not one arrest was made with these inciteful to violence calls. Not one.

I just returned from Haiti with Hebler. We flew in at 3 AM Sunday to the scene of such incredible destruction on one side, and enormous ineptitude and criminal neglect on the other. Port o Prince is in ruins. The rest of the country is fairly intact.Our team was a rescue team and we carried special equipment that locates people buried under the rubble. There are easily 200,000 dead; the city smells like a charnel house. The bloody UN was there for 5 years doing apparently nothing but wasting US Taxpayers money. The ones I ran into were either incompetent or outright anti-American. Most are French or French speakers, worthless every damn one of them. While 1800 rescuers were ready, willing and able to leave the airport and go do their jobs, the UN and USAID (another organization full of little Obamaites and Communists that openly speak against America). These two organizations exemplified their parochialism by:
USAID, when in control of all inbound flights, had food and water flights stacked up all the way to Miami, yet allowed Geraldo Rivera, Anderson Cooper and a host of other left wing news puppies to land.
Pulled all the security off the rescue teams so that Bill Clinton and his wife could have the grand tour, whilst we sat unable to get to people trapped in the rubble.
Stacked enough food and water for the relief over at the side of the airfield then put a guard on it while we dehydrated and wouldn’t release a drop of it to the resuers.
No shower facilities to decontaminate after digging or moving corpses all day, except for the FEMA teams who brought their own shower and decon equipment, as well as air conditioned tents.
No latrine facilities, less digging a hole. If you set up a shitter, everyone was trying to use it.
I watched a 25 year old Obamaite with the USAID shrieking hysterically, berate a full bird colonel in the Air Force because he countermanded her orders whilst trying to unscrew the air pattern. " You don’t know what your president wants! The military isn’t in charge here! We are!"
If any of you are thinking of giving money to the Haitian relief, or to the UN, don’t waste your money. It will only go to further the goals of the French and the Liberal left.
If we are a fair and even society, why is it that only white couples are adopting Haitian orphans? Where the hell is that vocal minority that is always screaming about the injustice of American society?
Bad place, bad situation, but a perfect look at the new world order in action. New Orleans magnified a thousand times. Haiti doesn’t need democracy. What Haiti needs is Papa Doc. Oh, and as a last slap in the face, the last four of us had to take US AIRWAYs home from Phoenix. They slapped me with a 590 dollar baggage charge for the four of us. The girl at the counter was almost in tears because she couldn’t give us a discount or she would lose her job. Pass that on to the flying public.
For many years, the British National Party have been warning of the effect immigration will have on our country, and for many years the media has portrayed the BNP as being racist because of it.
For many years the British National Party has existed for the indigenous people of Great Britain, seeing as all the other parties have betrayed us.
The problem here is that many people only hear what the media has to say. They seem to think the British National Party has only one policy, and that is in regard to immigration.
I find it hypocritical that in recent months other parties are coming out of the closet and finally admitting that their dream of a multicultural Eutopia has failed.
In today’s news, Lord Carey, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, says that ‘new immigrants coming to Britain should have an understanding of the country's Christian heritage’, and he is ‘part of an alliance of leading public figures demanding immigration to be urgently curbed to stop the population hitting 70million and causing ‘serious harm’ to society’.
I suppose that puts us on an even par then doesn’t it, where immigration is concerned?

On current demographic trends, we, the native British people, will be an ethnic minority in our own country within sixty years.
To ensure that this does not happen, and that the British people retain their homeland and identity, we call for an immediate halt to all further immigration, the immediate deportation of criminal and illegal immigrants, and the introduction of a system of voluntary resettlement whereby those immigrants who are legally here will be afforded the opportunity to return to their lands of ethnic origin assisted by a generous financial incentives both for individuals and for the countries in question.
We will abolish the ‘positive discrimination’ schemes that have made white Britons second-class citizens. We will also clamp down on the flood of ‘asylum seekers’, all of whom are either bogus or can find refuge much nearer their home countries.
EUROPE – back to British independence!
We are opposed to the Single European Currency, and support the overwhelming majority of the British people in their desire to keep the Pound and our traditional weights and measures. At the same time, we are for the best possible relationship with our European neighbours and believe that the nations of Europe should be free to trade and cooperate whenever it is mutually beneficial, though without being forced into a political and economic straitjacket – political unification. Accordingly, we stand for British withdrawal from the European Union. In place of the EU, we intend to aim towards greater national self-sufficiency, and to work to restore Britain’s family and trading ties with Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and to trade with the rest of the world as it suits us. Following our withdrawal from the EU, the BNP will use the £43 million per day net contribution Britain at present makes to the European Union to fund many far more useful projects at home.
The BNP will crack down on crime and restore public safety and confidence. We will free the police and courts from the politically correct straitjacket that is stopping them from doing their job properly. The liberal fixation with the ‘rights’ of criminals must be replaced by concern for the rights of victims, and the right of innocent people not to become victims. We support the re-introduction of corporal punishment for petty criminals and vandals, and the restoration of capital punishment for paedophiles, terrorists and murderers as an option for judges in cases where their guilt is proven beyond dispute, as by DNA evidence or being caught red-handed.
Globalisation, with its export of jobs to the Third World, is bringing ruin and unemployment to British industries and the communities that depend on them. Accordingly, the BNP calls for the selective exclusion of foreign-made goods from British markets and the reduction of foreign imports. We will ensure that our manufactured goods are, wherever possible, produced in British factories, employing British workers. When this is done, unemployment in this country will be brought to an end, and secure, well-paid employment will flourish, at last getting our people back to work and ending the waste and injustice of having more than 4 million people in a hidden army of the unemployed concealed by Labour’s statistical fiddles. We further believe that British industry, commerce, land and other economic and natural assets belong in the final analysis to the British nation and people. To that end we will restore our economy and land to British ownership. We also call for preference in the job market to be given to native Britons. We will take active steps to break up the socially, economically and politically damaging monopolies now being established by the supermarket giants. Finally we will seek to give British workers a stake in the success and prosperity of the enterprises whose profits their labour creates by encouraging worker shareholder and co-operative schemes
We are against the ‘trendy’ teaching methods that have made Britain one of the most poorly educated nations in Europe. We will end the practice of politically correct indoctrination in all its guises and we will restore discipline in the classroom, give authority back to teachers and put far greater emphasis on training young people in the industrial and technological skills necessary in the modern world. We will also seek to instill in our young people knowledge of and pride in the history, cultures and heritage of the native peoples of Britain.
AGRICULTURE – quality before quantity!
We see a strong, healthy agriculture sector as vital to the country. Britain’s farming industry will be encouraged to produce a much greater part of the nation’s need in food products. Priority will be switched from quantity to quality, as we move from competing in a global economy to maximum self-sufficiency for Britain. We will ensure a major shift to healthier and more sustainable organic farming. We are pledged to ensure the restoration of Britain’s once great fishing industry with the reimposition of the former exclusion zones around our coast.
We are wholly committed to a free, fully funded National Health Service for all British citizens. We will revitalise the Health Service by boosting staff and bed numbers, slashing unnecessary bureaucracy and by addressing the root cause of low recruitment and retention – low pay. We will see to it that no money is given in foreign aid while our own hospitals are short of beds and the staff to run them. More emphasis must be placed on healthy living with greater understanding of sickness prevention through physical exercise, a healthier environment and improved diets.
TRANSPORT – time to invest!
Increased investment is needed in Britain’s public transport system to bring it up to the highest standards in the world. The fiasco of rail privatisation with different companies running services and track leading to higher fares and lower safety also needs to be resolved. Congestion of our towns and cities must be eased by the provision of greater incentives to use rail and bus transport instead of private cars. The first step is to end the crime and squalor that puts so many people off public transport. Motorists must not be made the scapegoats for government failure. Fuel tax should be cut, motorway speed limits raised, and hidden speed cameras should be banned. Far more must be done to encourage the development and use of cleaner fuels.
Our ideal for Britain is that of a clean, beautiful country, free of pollution in all its forms. We will enforce standards to curb those practices, whether by business or the individual, which cause environmental damage. “The polluter pays to clean up the mess” must become a fact of life, not an electioneering slogan. In towns we would work to replace the brutalist modernism of 1960s-style-architecture with a blend of traditional local styles and materials and ensure that developments take place on a more human scale.
FOREIGN AID – time to spend our money on our own people!
We reject the idea that Britain must forever be obliged to subsidise the incompetence and corruption of Third World states by supplying them with financial aid. We will link foreign aid with our voluntary resettlement policy, whereby those nations taking significant numbers of people back to their homelands will need cash to help absorb those returning. The billions of pounds saved every year by this policy will also be reallocated to vital services in Britain.
PENSIONERS – pensioners before asylum seekers!
The conditions in which many of Britain’s old people are forced to live are a national disgrace. We are pledged to ensure that all our old folk are able to live in comfortable homes, and will restore the earnings link with pensions. Elderly people who have paid a lifetime of taxes and reared families should not have to sell their homes to pay for care.
Britain has shamefully allowed the terrorists in N.I. to come close to winning when the IRA could have been destroyed years ago. Government weakness has led to hundreds of deaths and given those same terrorists a share in government. We would end all attempts to force the people of Northern Ireland to accept foreign interference in their affairs and deal with terrorism – from whatever side – once and for all. No one with links to a terrorist organisation that refuses to lay down its arms should be allowed to enter government. We would abolish state-supported segregation in education. In the long run, we wish to end the conflict in Ireland by welcoming Eire as well as Ulster as equal partners in a federation of the nations of the British Isles.
Successive cuts in defence spending have left Britain’s armed forces perilously weak. We will boost Britain’s armed forces to ensure that they are able to deal with any emergency, and defend our homeland and our independence. We will bring our troops back from Germany and withdraw from NATO, since recent political developments make both commitments obsolete. We will close all foreign military bases on British soil, and refuse to risk British lives in meddling ‘peace-keeping’ missions in parts of the world where no British interests are at stake – a position of armed neutrality. We will also restore national service for our young with the option of civil or military service.
Britain’s foreign relations should be determined by the protection of our own national interest and not by our like or dislike of other nations’ internal politics. We would have no quarrel with any nation that does not threaten British interests. We will maintain an independent foreign policy of our own, and not a spineless subservience to the USA, the ‘international community’, or any other country.
The British people invented modern Parliamentary democracy. Yet in recent years the British people have been denied their democratic rights. On issue after issue, the views of the majority of British people have been ignored and overridden by a Politically Correct ‘elite’ which thinks it knows best. On immigration, on Capital Punishment, on the surrender of British sovereignty to the EU and in numerous other areas, democracy has been absent as Labour, Tories and Lib-Dems conspire in election after election to offer the British people no real choice on such vital issues. The BNP exists to give the British people, that choice, and thus to restore and defend the basic democratic rights we have all been denied. We favour more democracy, not less, not just at national but at regional and local level.
Power should be devolved to the lowest level possible so that local communities can make decisions which affect them. We will remove legal curbs on freedom of speech imposed by successive Governments over the last 40 years. We will implement a Bill of Rights guaranteeing fundamental freedoms to the British people. We will ensure that ordinary British people have real democratic power over their own lives and that Government, local and national, is truly accountable to the people who elect it.
A TEACHING union is threatening to take Stoke-on-Trent City Council to court unless it bans BNP councillors from serving as school governors.
The NASUWT says the move would help protect children and school staff from the far-right party's "pernicious agenda for hatred and discrimination".
Now it has written to all local education authorities, including Stoke-on-Trent, to urge them to review whether they are complying with the Race Relations Act.
The union says it is "fully prepared to file for judicial review" if councils do not offer "appropriate advice or take appropriate action" to stop BNP members being appointed as governors.
There are already six BNP councillors in the Potteries who sit on governing bodies and they could be forced to step down if any legal action is successful. All of them were appointed by the council.
Today, Chris Keates, general secretary of the NASUWT, told The Sentinel: "We will be looking very carefully at the governing bodies in Stoke-on-Trent."
She said the campaign to prevent party members becoming governors was triggered by an East Midlands case, where a BNP councillor could become vice-chairman of governors at a primary school.
But she added: "Stoke-on-Trent is a deep concern to the NASUWT, because of the number of BNP councillors."
The union represents thousands of classroom teachers across the city, although it's not clear how many members work in schools which have BNP governors.
The BNP today branded the NASUWT's stance as discrimination and vowed to fight any attempt to introduce a ban.
Alby Walker, BNP group leader on the city council, said: "The teaching union would be best keeping out of politics. They are trying to politicise the role of school governors.
"My councillors all do a good job as school governors. They do it because they want the best for the children."
In a statement, the city council said: "All city councillors are democratically elected and their nomination and election to panels and committees follow due council process.
"All city councillors are required to sign up to the members' code of conduct, under which they undertake to do nothing in their official capacity which will cause the council to breach the equality laws."
It comes as no surprise to me that it is a teachers' union that is opposing the rights of BNP members from acting as school governors.
This is a group who have peddled left wing anti-establishment propaganda for years, long before the BNP was formed. If they are able to use legal means from stopping democratically elected people from office the end of democracy is in sight.
A recent report in the press said that three quarters of the teaching profession believed teaching patriotism was brainwashing our children.
I have no doubt that some smart Alec will come up with Samuel Johnson's quote that "patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". I believe that he was referring to politicians – or maybe even teachers.
If they believe that, I challenge them to meet the families of our soldiers coming home in Union Flag draped coffins and tell them they are scoundrels.
A few years later Johnson also said: "A man thinks meanly of himself for not being a soldier or been at sea," a change of heart maybe.
Our rights are being whittled away day by day by officialdom. Some members of all the other main political parties say the BNP should be banned, that meetings should be boycotted and disrupted. I have never heard a member of the BNP say that of other parties, on the contrary, they want open debate with all parties.
Are the others afraid they might lose the argument?
Fascism can come from either extreme of the political spectrum. Hitler banned any party that opposed him and had the dissenters imprisoned and in many cases executed. Stalin did the same in Russia but these men had ideas that were politically opposite.
Today's politics is based on lies and deceit but they don't call it that they call it spin. I remember Screaming Lord Sutch and his Monster Raving Looney Party, of course with his barmy ideas he never stood a chance of getting elected, and this is where the spin doctors triumphed. They changed the name and their leader and bingo, in 1997 they were elected and have been in power ever since.
I am not a supporter of the BNP or of any other political party. I will leave you with this on which I base my argument, "I disapprove of what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Voltaire.
For a long time now, groups like the UAF, Searchlight and their associates have disrupted BNP meetings and in particular the annual Red, White and Blue festival.
By their own admission they target youngsters from an early age using communist loving, politically correct morons going by the name of ‘teacher’. This concept is not new. After all, who taught the teachers? This now happens on a national scale and by the time these kids have reached university many of them are actively involved in protests across the country against anyone who dares to voice an opinion.
August 14th is the start of the BNP’s Red, White & Blue. This year will be extra special as it is the festival’s 10th anniversary and also a celebration of gaining two MEP’s – Mr Nick Griffin and Mr Andrew Brons.
We know that once again the UAF and chums will be mobilising to disrupt this brilliant family weekend get together of like-minded people. This year however will different.
I hear along the grapevine that there will be a counter-demo in Codnor. A demonstration AGAINST the deomonstrators.
The local people have had enough of the ball scratching rednecks and their women folk. They are sick and tired of clearing up their mess, listening to their incessant rantings and their disgusting and violent behaviour.
This year the true face of democracy is shining through. .
As I reported earlier an anti-muslim demonstration was to take place in Birmingham on July 4th. The demonstration was organised by the English Defence League. The EDL joined forces with the Welsh Defence League (WDL) in order to show muslims and the Government that the people of Great Britain will no longer tolerate islamic hatred in our Countries.
This demo has not been mentioned anywhere in the media. Why not? Are they afraid that the people of Britain will see what is happening and want to join in?
