Electoral reform to exclude the BNP - Harriett Harman

Harriett Harmen reveals the real reason why the government want to change the way voting works - to keep out the BNP!

Harman revealed on TV that the electoral reform will mean BNP will need 50%+ of the vote to be elected. Clearly the motivation for electoral reform is to exclude the BNP from Westminster and deny their voters a voice.

Lib/Lab/Con dirty tricks increase in run-up to election

The latest dirty campaign tactics adopted by Nigel Mills (Tory), communist Judy Mallaber (Labour) and Tom Snowdon (Lib Dem) have increased in the run-up to the General Election.

First up is the lies given to people on their doorstep. People, especially the aged, are being told it is illegal to vote for the British National Party.

Secondly, well, you can see for yourself the leaflet above.

The illegal leaflets, required by law to name the printer, have been delivered by the Lib/Lab/Con backed UAF thugs to houses around BNP members addresses.

Is there no end to the depths these scum will sink?

While they send out their disgusting 'literature' which incites violence against BNP members, the BNP grows stronger. No amount of intimidation or bullying will stop a true patriot; it only serves to advance our cause.

A taster of Browns Britain

You only have to look in the newspapers or watch the TV news programmes to see what Brown’s Labour Government has done to Great Britain.

Every day without fail atrocities are reported on, but one of the main problems seems to be the youngsters of today.

Brown’s namby-pambying has meant that children are growing up to be bullies, thugs, druggies and murderers.

Gone are the days when we could chastise our own children; slap your child now and you’ll be up on a charge of abuse.

Gone are the days of children doing as they are told in class or face the music. The teachers are scared of their pupils. Children can ‘report’ on their teachers from the classroom via text message and even ‘vet’ them to make sure they are suitable for the job.

And gone are the days when young adults left school and started work straight away. Brown sure has seen to that! Arty farty courses are the norm and manufacturing has all but been shipped abroad

But when you allow families from other countries that have lesser values (and in some cases are less civilised) settle here, then boy had you better expect trouble.

Gordon Brown’s labour Government has created this mess and Conservative’s David Cameron looks set to carry on with his ‘good’ work.

Looking in today’s paper, the first thing I saw was the story of a 16 year old girl fighting for her life after being shot in the neck. A young man went to the pizza shop where she was having a meal with her five friends, opened fire, missed the target and rode off... ON HIS MOUNTAIN BIKE!

Forty five minutes later a 20 year old man was stabbed to death outside a pub. This was a separate incident, but even so, both attacks were in London.

The story of the 17 year old that killed his baby daughter by ‘shaking her’ came next. He has no remorse and claims he did nothing wrong. He received a two-and-a-half year sentence.

Gordon brown’s Britain is a mess. He has forced mass immigration upon us, turned our children into mini Hitler’s and sold us out to Europe. Diseases virtually wiped out, such as TB, have made a comeback; MRSA and CDiff are killing the patients that foreign non-English speaking doctors have managed to miss. Incidentally, some 3,500 NHS workers have been found to be illegal immigrants...

I could go on and on but you have heard it all already.

To top it off, the final article made my stomach churn. Why? Because Labour’s indoctrination of our children is paying off when it comes to fulfilling their dream of a multicultural Eutopia.

According to the Mail’s medical correspondent, Jenny Hope, ‘Brits believe that mixed-raced people are the most attractive and successful’...

Wake up people and vote for a brighter future.

Binge Drinking at the Tax-payers Expense - Labour MP's

Etherington & Smith

Two Labour MPs took part in a champagne drinking contest on an official Commons junket to Paris, which led to one of them being violently ill.

Left-winger Bill Etherington drank so much that a doctor was called.

It was feared the MP might die after he defeated fellow Labour MP Geraldine Smith in the expenses-fuelled boozing competition.

The incident caused lasting damage to the UK’s relations with Europe, with Labour MPs saying it led to Britain being banned from a key European post.

Anti-monarchist and former miners’ union leader Mr Etherington outraged senior politicians from across the Continent when he projectile vomited at a dinner.

The conduct of Labour’s self-styled ‘champion drinker’ was reported to Downing Street, but Labour Party leaders ordered a cover-up to prevent a major scandal.

Astonishingly, no action was taken against him. He was told to ‘carry on junketing’ – and returned to Britain yesterday from a trip to Romania similar to the one in Paris where, according to other Labour MPs, he disgraced himself and his country.

A Mail on Sunday investigation has revealed shocking details of how MPs spend more than £800,000 a year on European junkets, which some of them freely admit are an orgy of drinking.

Four MP's Charged With False Accounting

Three Labour MP’s and one Tory peer are being charged with theft false accounting.

These aren’t simple lapses of concentration when putting forward an expense, but deliberate theft, to the extent where false receipts/invoices were created.

The dishonesty of those in charge of our country never ceases to amaze me, but what I find amazing is that there aren’t more of them facing charges. Lot’s more.

While those who have claimed excessively wriggle and squirm their way out of a summons, it seems these four men’s only chance is to use a law dating back to 1689.

Under the ancient law, the Commons rule book on expenses is covered by ‘Parliamentary privilege’ and means they can only be judged by a committee of MP’s and NOT by our courts.

What makes it even harder to swallow is the blatant disregard to the tax-payer. Lining their own pockets by any means, even at the expense of the very people who voted them into parliament and pay their wages, is all they care about.

They are thieving, lying, scheming, scum and should be dealt with like everyone else.

And what does Commons speaker, John Bercow, have to say about this fiasco? He acknowledged that the expenses scandal had done huge damage to parliament but warned against too severe a crackdown as it could put people off from standing for Parliament.

The reason for his ridiculous comment?

He's a liar and a thief himself!

What planet are these people on? Anyone who stands and gets into parliament should be above board, honest, trustworthy and faithful to the people they serve, not downright liars and thieves.

Check out their level of dishonesty...

Don't forget, a vote for lib/lab/con is a vote for more of the same. Use that vote wisely and vote BNP.

Hucknall Central Ward By-Election Thursday 11th February 2010

Edward Holmes

Due to the death of Tory councillor Gordon Riley on December 10th 2009, there will be a Hucknall Central Ward By-Election on Thursday 11th of February.

Former chairman of Ashfield District Council and a former Labour Councillor, Edward Holmes, who defected to the British National Party, will be standing as the BNP candidate.

Mr Holmes said:

“Unfortunately the Labour party I represented no longer cares for the local people. The Labour party of today is not the party that represents Britain’s working class.”

Although it is unknown territory for the BNP, there is a lot of positive feedback from the public; there is a good chance of the BNP gaining a seat on Ashfield Council.

General Election Candidate – Amber Valley British National Party

Michael Clarke

Local activist Michael Clarke has been selected as our Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the forthcoming General Election.

Michael is 53 years old, married to wife Jane for 30 years and has 3 children and one grandchild. He has spent most of his working life as a Furniture Designer and Upholsterer, winning nine national awards for his sofa designs.

Michael says:
“I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to promote our common sense policies. I will be campaigning on the nation changing issues that the other parties fear to address. Mass Immigration, the European Union and the loss of our Christian heritage will be my priorities, along with the illegal war in Afghanistan, a better deal for our pensioners and crime.

We are now the third party in Amber Valley, having beaten the Lib Dems in both the Euro and County elections in June, and we are closing fast on the Tories and Labour. To win the seat will be a monumental task but if we work hard and keep to our strategy I genuinely believe it is possible.

Our last two MPs have been outsiders who have put Amber Valley second to their own political careers. Being born and bred in the heart of the constituency, Amber Valley means more to me than just a meal ticket and I will be fighting for the good of the area to my utmost ability.”

Footnote:

It's time the communist, Judy mallaber, was sent packing. Good luck Michael. We are behind you all the way.

Druggies, Students and Misfits - Government Funded UAF

The above video was taken undercover to expose the leader of Stoke-on-Trent UAF.

As you will see, the person is high on cannabis and acid.

Now the man has been caught on film, will the police arrest him? If they do, will he receive the appropriate sentence?

I doubt it.

You see, our government shows support to the uaf. Indeed, those in top government positions are signatories. Appropriate name that, seeing as one of them is David Cameron.

Check out the list below. It shows just some of those who condone and financially support pathetic specimens like the man in the video.

Can you justify voting for people who follow the Fabian Strategy? A strategy of wearing down an opponent through harassment and adopted when no feasible alternative strategy can be devised.

Do you really want these type of people running our country?

I DON'T!

British Health Service one of the worst in Europe

So, our Health Service is supposed to be the best in the world is it?

How many times do we hear ‘If it wasn’t for immigration we wouldn’t have doctors, nurses, dentists, blah, blah, blah’?

Well, according to a survey published yesterday by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, even though we have more nurses than most other countries, Britain is behind the Czech Republic and Poland in international league tables. When it comes to health we lag even further behind the wealthiest nations, such as France, Sweden and Germany.

In the past 12 years, Labour have tripled NHS spending to more than £100billion a year, but they have still failed to improve our Health Service.

BNP expose SWP / Labour / Con / UAF thugs

Video by walesroc

Once again, Wales BNP have come up trumps.

The footage above shows the way BNP supporters/members are treated by the likes of the Labour, Conservative and union bootboys.

Here we have the Socialist Workers Party in action, and what a pathetic bunch they are.

Shouting through a megaphone, a man shouts that all immigrants are welcome and claims that without immigrants there would be no wealth in Britain.

The passersby respond by calling him a racist communist.

Council taxpayers will fork out to make up £1.5m pension deficit

Improving? You're having a laugh!

POOR returns on investments and people living longer are likely to add £1.5m to the amount Derby City Council contributes to its pension scheme.

The fund, which is managed by Derbyshire County Council, covers the pensions for employees except teachers in all local authorities in the county, including Derby City Council.

About 36,500 people are paying into the final salary pension scheme and it is paying out to about 19,500 pensioners.

There are a further 16,500 people who used to pay in but have since left their employer and the pension is preserved until they retire.

Its value is monitored by an independent actuary every three years. The fund should have £2.6bn to make sure all its payments, both current and future, will be met.

At the 2007 valuation of the fund it was £514m short of that. Of this, £450m was for the county, city and district councils and these amounts will have increased due to the fall in the value of investments in the past year.

Council taxpayers in Derby city give £68 towards the pension scheme and, of that, £21 goes towards clearing the deficit.

For those paying Derbyshire County Council tax, £54 goes into the local government pension scheme – £14 of which goes towards covering the deficit.

The next independent review of the pension fund is due on March 31, 2010, with revised employers' contributions payable for the following years, starting in April 2011.

In light of the credit crunch and plummeting interest rates, the position could be significantly worse than it is now.

That is why the city council is already forecasting it may have to set aside a further £1.5m to put into the scheme.

How that money will be found will have to be decided during the budget process before it is set in March next year.

This is the same council that just wasted £15,00 on a playground for pensioners!

The outrageous truth slips out: Labour cynically plotted to transform the entire make-up of Britain without telling us

The lying, squirming Jack Straw

So now the cat is well and truly out of the bag. For years, as the number of immigrants to Britain shot up apparently uncontrollably, the question was how exactly this had happened.

Was it through a fit of absent-mindedness or gross incompetence? Or was it not inadvertent at all, but deliberate?

The latter explanation seemed just too outrageous. After all, a deliberate policy of mass immigration would have amounted to nothing less than an attempt to change the very make-up of this country without telling the electorate.

There could not have been a more grave abuse of the entire democratic process. Now, however, we learn that this is exactly what did happen. The Labour government has been engaged upon a deliberate and secret policy of national cultural sabotage.

This astonishing revelation surfaced quite casually last weekend in a newspaper article by one Andrew Neather. He turns out to have been a speech writer for Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.

And it was he who wrote a landmark speech in September 2000 by the then immigration minister, Barbara Roche, that called for a loosening of immigration controls. But the true scope and purpose of this new policy was actively concealed.

In its 1997 election manifesto, Labour promised 'firm control over immigration' and in 2005 it promised a 'crackdown on abuse'. In 2001, its manifesto merely said that the immigration rules needed to reflect changes to the economy to meet skills shortages.

But all this concealed a monumental shift of policy. For Neather wrote that until 'at least February last year', when a new points-based system was introduced to limit foreign workers in response to increasing uproar, the purpose of the policy Roche ushered in was to open up the UK to mass immigration.

This has been achieved. Some 2.3million migrants have been added to the population since 2001. Since 1997, the number of work permits has quadrupled to 120,000 a year.

Unless policies change, over the next 25 years some seven million more will be added to Britain's population, a rate of growth three times as fast as took place in the Eighties.

Such an increase is simply unsustainable. Britain is already one of the most overcrowded countries in Europe. But now look at the real reason why this policy was introduced, and in secret. The Government's 'driving political purpose', wrote Neather, was 'to make the UK truly multicultural'.

It was therefore a politically motivated attempt by ministers to transform the fundamental make-up and identity of this country. It was done to destroy the right of the British people to live in a society defined by a common history, religion, law, language and traditions.

It was done to destroy for ever what it means to be culturally British and to put another 'multicultural' identity in its place. And it was done without telling or asking the British people whether they wanted their country and their culture to be transformed in this way.

Spitefully, one motivation by Labour ministers was 'to rub the Right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date'.

Even Neather found that particular element of gratuitous Left-wing bullying to be 'a manoeuvre too far'.

Yet apart from this, Neather sees nothing wrong in the policy he has described. Indeed, the reason for his astonishing candour is he thinks it's something to boast about. Mass immigration, he wrote, had provided the 'foreign nannies, cleaners and gardeners' without whom London could hardly function.

What elitist arrogance! As if most people employ nannies, cleaners and gardeners. And what ignorance. The argument that Britain is better off with this level of immigration has been conclusively shown to be economically illiterate.

Neather gave the impression that most immigrants are Eastern Europeans. But these form fewer than a quarter of all immigrants.

And the fact is that, despite his blithe assertions to the contrary, schools in areas of very high immigration find it desperately difficult to cope with so many children who don't even have basic English. Other services, such as health or housing, are similarly being overwhelmed by the sheer weight of numbers.

But the most shattering revelation was that this policy of mass immigration was not introduced to produce nannies or cleaners for the likes of Neather. It was to destroy Britain's identity and transform it into a multicultural society where British attributes would have no greater status than any other country's.

A measure of immigration is indeed good for a country. But this policy was not to enhance British culture and society by broadening the mix. It was to destroy its defining character altogether.

It also conveniently guaranteed an increasingly Labour-voting electorate since, as a recent survey by the Electoral Commission has revealed, some 90 per cent of black people and three-quarters of Asians vote Labour.

In Neather's hermetically sealed bubble, the benefits of mass immigration were so overwhelming he couldn't understand why ministers had been so nervous about it.

They were, he wrote, reluctant to discuss what increased immigration would mean, above all to Labour's core white working class vote. So they deliberately kept it secret.

They knew that if they told the truth about what they were doing, voters would rise up in protest. So they kept it out of their election manifestos.

It was indeed a conspiracy to deceive the electorate into voting for them. And yet it is these very people who have the gall to puff themselves up in self-righteous astonishment at the rise of the BNP.

No wonder Jack Straw was so shifty on last week's Question Time when he was asked whether it was the Government's failure to halt immigration which lay behind increasing support for the BNP.

Welcome to Gordon Brown’s Broken Britain

The unelected moron in charge and his sniveling, thieving entourage, has not only brought our country to its knees but ensured that for generations to come it will only get worse. But do you know the worse thing about it? They just can't see it.

The following article was in today’s Mail online.

Drink, promiscuity and a cycle of low aspiration among children mean Britain is becoming the 'bad parent' of the western world, it has been revealed.

A vast study of youngsters' well-being in 30 industrialised nations ranks Britain among the worst for health, lifestyles and school standards relative to public spending levels.

Underage teenagers in Britain are more likely to get drunk than those in any other country, and Britain has among the highest proportions of teenage mothers and single-parent families.

In 'risky' behaviour - drinking, smoking and teenage pregnancy - Britain's performance is worse than all nations other than Turkey and Mexico.

Educational achievement is low given the billions being poured in by Labour, with more than one in ten 15 to 19-year-olds not in school, training or work - the fourth highest rate in the OECD, ahead only of Italy, Turkey and Mexico. Social mobility in Britain is also stalled, the report concludes.

The report, published by the economic think-tank the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, compared data from 30 leading countries around the world on children's welfare.

It found that public spending on children is well above average, at more than £90,000 from birth to the age of 18. Family incomes are relatively healthy, too, ranking eighth out of the 30 countries studied.

But education results remained 'low relative to spending levels,' the report says, while the ability of children to break out of their class structures and earn more than their parents is poor.

'In the United Kingdom... each new generation is more likely to find themselves in the same position in the earnings distribution as their parents,' it says.

Figures show that 33 per cent of 13 and 15-year-olds in Britain had been drunk at least twice, despite being too young to be served alcohol, compared with just 12 per cent of American youngsters and 14 per cent of French.

Unlike in many other countries, drunkenness is more common among girls - with half of 15-year-olds having been drunk at least twice - than boys, with 44 per cent.

Teenage pregnancy is also far higher than average across the OECD. The UK has the fourth highest teenage pregnancy rate after Mexico, Turkey and the United States.

In Britain, 23.4 teenage girls per 1,000 gave birth in 2005.

Britain ranks a poor 20th out of the 30 in terms of children's 'health and safety', with infant mortality rates higher than average and among the lowest numbers of toddlers being vaccinated against measles.

The report criticises the Government for paying out generous benefits for single parents, saying that they keep them out of employment for too long. Once children start school at 4 or 5, benefits should be withdrawn, it says.

'There is little or no evidence that these benefits positively influence child well-being, while they discourage single-parent employment,' the report says.

Only 70 per cent of under-16s in England live with both parents, a figure which falls to 68 per cent in Scotland and 66 in Wales. This is well below the OECD average of 75 per cent.

The report echoes research two years ago from UNICEF that put British children bottom of a list of the 21 most advanced countries.

That report cites family breakdown, drink, drugs, teenage sex and fear of violence as the issues confronting teenagers.

Shadow Schools Minister, Nick Gibb said: 'The low levels of social mobility and high levels of inequality are a serious cause for concern.

'The OECD is right that money needs to be targeted at poorer pupils if we are to close the educational gap between the top and the bottom.

'That is why two years ago, the Conservatives proposed a plan for education reform with an explicit pupil premium attached to children from less well-off backgrounds.

'Labour has failed a generation of children which is why we need a Conservative Government that takes the necessary steps to remove this block on opportunity.'

Joyce Moseley, chief executive of youth charity Catch22, said: 'The UK has consistently scored poorly in OECD reports on the levels of young people not in work, education or training; teenage pregnancy and youth substance abuse.

'Unless we can start to improve this situation the UK risks becoming the bad parent of Europe.

'The OECD makes it clear that although the UK spends more than most on young people, the money is poorly targeted for older children.

'It is important that the good work done in the early years is backed up with consistency and targeted support for the most vulnerable young people.

'Now is the time for those of all political stripes to make a commitment to improving the situation of young people in the UK.'

Dawn Primarolo, the Children's Minister, said: ‘It is disappointing to see the UK rated so low for risky behaviours.'

But she added: 'We have introduced a number of initiatives to help teenagers and their families make informed decisions about their behaviour, including the plans to introduce statutory Personal, Sexual and Health Education lessons to equip young people with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills to live healthy, safe, fulfilled and responsible lives.'

Judy Mallaber MP and The RWB

The Red Cow - Judy Mallaber

I wonder if anyone else in the British National Party have thought about digging into the background of Judy Mallaber, the Labour MP for the Amber Valley, where their annual family fesitival the Red, White and Blue is taking place in just over a week? No need guys, I have done it for you.

Got to warn you now though, this looks like being a long article if I am to really do an hatchet job on the hatchet faced red cow shown above.

Right, let us start at the beginning. Decades ago, the communists realised that the British People would never vote for them, given that communism has been responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths. So they made a deliberate policy to infiltrate and take over from within, existing political parties starting with Labour and have now succeeded in that goal. The other parties are now suffering the same fate.

Mallaber was selected to stand for election in 1996 for Labour in the Amber Valley through an all-women shortlist. This method of selection was declared illegal in January 1996 as it breached sex discrimination laws but since when as the Law meant anything to the communists?

Despite the ruling she remained in place as the candidate for the following year's election and was elected at the 1997 general election but where and what was she doing up until 1996.

Well until then, Mallaber was an extremely active member of the Communist Party from 1987-96, until given her orders to move to Parliament.

Now communists are a bit like zombies, they are mindless creatures who do as they are told, they can no more throw of the shackles enclosing their minds then I could give up loving my country. She is still a communist and a communist in power spells danger for nationalists who wish to preserve their nation states and cultures.

And what about her performance in the Parliament of Pigs where she has gorged so well.

Well she certainly enjoys foreign travel as she spends a lot of time in Africa and India, although why a Christian Charity would pay a communist to go to Africa is beyond me.

I can understand why the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Government of India would pay for luxury visits, as like all communists, Mallaber believes jobs should go anywhere except to the British People.

Her voting record, is as to be expected for this plump little piggie from Parliament, who sucked up over £200,000 of our money in pay and expenses last year. Did you notice how her expenses chart shot through the roof once she had her snout into the trough? Quick learner with a big appetite for public money our Judy. Well it will soon be her turn to cry:)

•Voted for smoking ban
•Voted for ID Cards
•Voted for the Iraq War
•Voted against an investigation for the Iraq War
•Voted for ban on hunting
•Voted for gay rights

Now if you would like to see what Judy as been spending our money on this year, then please feel free to visit this link, where her expenses are listed. However I must warn you that they have been heavily censored according to the Labours Partys idea of Freedom of Information.

Now that we have some idea of the background and type of person Mallaber is we can now move forward to her involvement in the acts of petty spite being carried out by Denby Council in stopping the BNPs drink and entertainment licences and now banning caravans and camper vans from the private land where the family event will still take place. Hopefully with a defiantly bigger turn out.

Well last year Judy Mallaber was actively campaigning against the RWB taking place in her constituency that she was parachuted into against the wishes of the local labour party.

Trade union leaders on the march included Bob Crow, general secretary of the RMT, Jerry Bartlett, deputy general secretary of the NASUWT, and Lee Barron, the CWU’s Midlands regional secretary. Local Labour MP Judy Mallaber also turned up to give her support.

And this year Mallaber is again expected to be one of the speakers at the UAF Thugs protest that is going ahead despite the wishes of the local people and businesses, some of which were vandalised by the communists last year when 33 of them were arrested. Good guy is in the blue colours and the bad guy in red.

Still with me good. Because I am very interested in some emails that are flying between Judy and a British National Party supporter and I think you will be interested also.

Dear Member of Parliament

I am writing to you as the MP for Amber Valley regarding the British National Party annual Red White and Blue festival. I have been informed that the local council have decided to ban any caravans or camperhomes from parking on site and this raises several questions which I would like addressed as a matter of urgency please.

I have an elderly disabled member travelling with me that needs frequent access to a toilet through the night and cant possibly be expected to sleep in a tent due to health reasons, the alternative is to stay at a local caravan park and this raises further concerns that i would like an urgent answer to please.

As you are aware last years event was marred by supporters of the UAF organisation who attacked police throwing bricks etc they also attacked a few cars damaging them in the process. I am concerned that we are firstly expected to now stay on the same sites locally as these hooligans and also for the safety of the disabled member travelling with me on route to the event if we encounter any of the missile throwing mob. There is also the question of any damage my camper home may sustain from any attack on route as this has a value of some £40,000.

I trust that you can send my assurances that there will be police security for the duration at both the local caravan parks and also the route into and out of the festival? We will in the event of any damage both to property or person hold the council directly responsible for this.

yours sincerely

Dear Member of Parliament

Further to my previous email below I am still waiting for a response regarding the security measures you have put into place for those of us now banned from taking our campers or caravans into the BNP RWB festival in Codnor on August 14th.

As I have stated we have an elderly member with us that suffers from mobility problems and needs constant access to toilet facility.

We also asked you what kind of assurance you could provide while we travelled to the venue as I am led to understand from the local newspaper that Unions have organised as many as 1000 protesters to gather and disrupt the festival. What are your propositions for our safety while on local caravan sites with these protesters and our safety while we travel to the venue?

I look forward to your promp reply.

Dear Member of Parliament

My home address is of no relevance in this matter and it is fairly obvious from my email that we are travelling to your area for a perfectly legal event and have expressed concerns for our safety while in your area, are you implying that you are not responsible for the safety of the public in your area? it is after all your local council that has implemented this ban on us accessing the site.

Are you simply not interested in the safety of a disabled person because we support the British National Party?

You are all fully aware of the problems caused by Labour supporters at last years event and we have submitted a perfectly reasonable request.
