Immigration and Terrorism in Great Britain

It’s surprising how much you miss when you are away. I’ve only been away for 10 days and on returning I checked the papers to see what’s been happening.

Oh boy!

We have reports of the UK’s immigration growth being out of control, overtaking the rest of Europe, and predictions of migrants driving our population up to nearly 80 million within 40 years time.

Four out of ten houses built to cope with the rise in population already house migrants and it is estimated that over the next 25 years, 25 MILLION extra homes will have to be built.

There are the Eastern Europeans; the Polish, Lithuanians, Romanians and travellers, bringing with them even more crime, drug, prostitution and child trafficking.

While travellers are allowed to illegally camp, one man, who lives next to one such campsite, has had planning permission denied for 13 years and is on the road to losing his livelihood. And yet a legal camp that cost the taxpayer half a million pounds has virtually been unused for ten years.

Then we have Pakistani terrorists sending parcel bombs to No10 and MI6, while other suspects are queuing up for compensation for breaches in their human rights.

WHERE ARE THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE THESE SCUM KILL AND MAIM!

And then of course there are ‘vicars’ carrying out scam marriages so illegal immigrants can stay here, and not forgetting ‘virginity repair’, some at the tax payer’s expense, for muslim women who don’t want their future husband’s and relatives to know she’s not a virgin.

No, that would never do, would it? I mean, if there is no blood on the sheets on her wedding night she’s in big trouble, isn’t she? She’d probably be found dead somewhere, unless she’s gone ‘missing’, with her throat cut and acid thrown in her face. There’s no stonings here, not just yet anyway, but it’s only a matter of time.

But mark my words, it WILL come. There are already no-go areas for white British people in our own country and thanks to Cameron, it looks like Turkey will be joining the EU. That’s 70 million more muslims able to flood Britain.

We have an aging population you see, but not Turkey, they have a very young population and guess where they are going to head to, to spread their vile ideology and clog up our welfare and national health system.

You’ve got it. They’ll come here, because Britain is a soft touch. Not only that, they know if islam conquer Britain it can conquer anywhere.

I would like to know, I would REALLY like to know, why the people of Britain vote for the likes of Conservative, Lib Dem and Labour. They are intent on destroying Britain and her people.

And while they sit in Westminster it is US that bear the burden...

Stop foreign aid!

Andrew Neill destroys the Conservative Government Minister and expenses fat cat Alan Duncan which was recorded from The Daily Politics, 20 July 2010 BBC ONE

Britain as a nation is bankrupt. Public services have faced massive cuts which is believed to lead to higher levels of unemployment. Yet the British government is increasing foreign aid and not using Taxpayers money to help the British people who are unemployed or facing severe problems because of the economic climate.

STOP FOREIGN AID AND STOP FOREIGN WARS!! Charity Begins at home!!

Postal vote fraud could swing election

Voter fraud could determine the outcome of the general election as evidence emerges of massive postal vote rigging. Police have launched 50 criminal inquiries nationwide amid widespread cases of electoral rolls being packed with ‘bogus’ voters.
Officials report a flood of postal vote applications in marginal seats. With the outcome of the closest election in a generation hanging in the balance, a few thousand ‘stolen’ votes there could determine who wins the keys to Downing Street.
Anti-sleaze campaigner Martin Bell said: ‘There is actually a possibility that the result of the election could be decided by electoral fraud. That’s pretty grim.
‘We are facing a situation where we can no longer trust the integrity of our electoral system. It was a huge mistake to extend the postal vote. It opened up our system to all kinds of frauds.’
Out of a total estimated electorate of 46million, 7million have registered for postal votes.
The Metropolitan Police are examining 28 claims of major abuses across 12 boroughs - with four separate investigations in Tower Hamlets, East London. Labour supporters stand accused of packing the electoral roll at the last minute with relatives living overseas or simply inventing phantom voters.
Officials in Tower Hamlets received 5,166 new registrations just before the April 20 deadline, and there has been no time to check them all.
In Bethnal Green, it is feared the electoral register has been deliberately stacked with fictitious names.
Yesterday the Mail visited one four-bedroom flat in the area where 18 men are apparently claiming a vote, all of whom registered within the past month.
The students living there were baffled by many of the names said to be residing with them. Another resident was surprised to learn that eight complete strangers were also registered as living in the small flat she shares with her partner.
Other addresses investigated by the Mail were linked to the Labour Party.
At a property in Rainhill Way, Bethnal Green, where Labour Party council election candidate Khales Uddin Ahmed lives with his family, seven adults have suddenly joined the electoral roll.
A few streets away, where Labour councillor Shiria Khatun is seeking re-election, her household has been boosted by three new voter registrations at her small flat within the past few weeks. Her husband angrily slammed the door when questions were asked yesterday.
The Mail’s Richard Kay has learned that for the first time ever the Commonwealth is dispatching a group of election monitors – more used to supervising banana republics – to scrutinise the results on Thursday.
Opposition parties fear a concerted effort is being made to swing the election.
Tower Hamlets Conservative councillor Peter Golds said: ‘There is increasing evidence of ongoing electoral corruption. I am concerned that there will be no attempt to investigate this before election day.
‘All the dodgy addresses seem to involve Bangladeshi names, and the police are terrified of investigating that community for fear of being branded racists. At one of the addresses, a Russian woman answers the door. How many Bangladeshi men live together with a Russian woman?’
Numerous other examples of this corruption are coming to light, including a visitor from Bangladesh who arrives with a tourist visa next week, but whose postal vote has already been sent off.
The problem is not confined to London. In Yorkshire, five police investigations are under way in Bradford and Calderdale, where two arrests have been already been made.
In Derby, police are investigating several claims of electoral fraud, including one case where a female voter was allegedly intimidated by three men who demanded that she fill in and sign postal votes for the Labour Party.
In Surrey, Tory activists have received reports that two members of a rival party pretended to be Conservatives and bullied a man on a ventilator in hospital into signing over his postal vote to them.
Under election law, anyone from Commonwealth countries can vote in the general election if resident in the UK.
But names can be added to the electoral roll – and become eligible for postal votes – without anyone checking their identities or whether they are actually in the country.
In 2005 around 15 per cent of all votes were cast using a postal vote, but the Electoral Commission watchdog believes that figure will rise this time.
In the last month there were 150,000 applications and, in some areas, postal vote registrations have increased by 200 per cent since 2005.
Surveys of the most marginal seats, where the election will be decided, have revealed a surge in postal voting.
In the key marginals Edinburgh South and Barnet, postal votes are up by 60%, while Brighton has seen an increase of 40% in voter registration.
In Islington, a vital Labour-Lib Dem marginal, the numbers on the electoral roll have increased by nearly 20,000 to 135,800 in just five years.
The Electoral Commission, which oversees the elections process, warned seven years ago that widespread postal voting is open to fraud.
But rules to ensure that every voter has to provide personal ID before joining the electoral roll will not come into force for three years. Daily Mail

Postal Vote Fraud In Derby

ALLEGATIONS of postal vote fraud are being investigated by police in Derby.

A complaint has been sent by the Conservative party to Derbyshire police about suspected fraud in the Sinfin ward in the Derby City Council local elections – which will be held on May 6, the same day as the General Election.

The complaint involves concerns that a voter was approached by men requesting her to fill in and sign three postal voting forms in favour of the Labour party.

It is an offence to complete a postal vote that is not your own or to influence how others complete their postal vote.

Chief Superintendent Andy Hough said the matter would be investigated. He added that he had received more than one report of irregularities with postal voting.

"We have received more than one complaint in Derby and we will be making some inquiries in relation to postal votes," he said.

Councillor Harvey Jennings, leader of the Conservative group in Derby, said: "I am aware that a serious complaint has been made to the police with regards to three men intimidating a resident in Sinfin into ensuring that postal vote forms were completed in favour of the Labour party.

"It is quite shocking and I trust that the police will conduct a thorough investigation.

"I would urge any resident across the city who feels they have been put under duress to complete their vote in favour of any particular party to come forward and make a complaint to the police, as this is a practice that we do not condone.

"I have written to the leader of the local Labour Group asking him to confirm that members of his party locally are not engaged in this activity."

Chris Williamson, leader of the Labour group in Derby, said he did not think members of his group would be involved in such activities but added: "It is now a matter for the police."

Liberal Democrat leader, Hilary Jones, said she had heard rumours about it but that her group had pledged not to be involved in any such activities.

The letter of complaint was sent to the police by Philip Hickson, election agent for the local Conservative group.

He said: "The candidate for Sinfin came to me with what I considered to be serious electoral irregularities to do with postal voting. I just took the information and passed it on to the police and to Michael Foote at Derby City Council as the returning officer, as this is clearly a matter for them."

Mr Foote confirmed: "I understand a letter has been sent to the police for them to investigate.

"The proper course is for them now to carry out that investigation."

Lib/Lab/Con dirty tricks increase in run-up to election

The latest dirty campaign tactics adopted by Nigel Mills (Tory), communist Judy Mallaber (Labour) and Tom Snowdon (Lib Dem) have increased in the run-up to the General Election.

First up is the lies given to people on their doorstep. People, especially the aged, are being told it is illegal to vote for the British National Party.

Secondly, well, you can see for yourself the leaflet above.

The illegal leaflets, required by law to name the printer, have been delivered by the Lib/Lab/Con backed UAF thugs to houses around BNP members addresses.

Is there no end to the depths these scum will sink?

While they send out their disgusting 'literature' which incites violence against BNP members, the BNP grows stronger. No amount of intimidation or bullying will stop a true patriot; it only serves to advance our cause.

A taster of Browns Britain

You only have to look in the newspapers or watch the TV news programmes to see what Brown’s Labour Government has done to Great Britain.

Every day without fail atrocities are reported on, but one of the main problems seems to be the youngsters of today.

Brown’s namby-pambying has meant that children are growing up to be bullies, thugs, druggies and murderers.

Gone are the days when we could chastise our own children; slap your child now and you’ll be up on a charge of abuse.

Gone are the days of children doing as they are told in class or face the music. The teachers are scared of their pupils. Children can ‘report’ on their teachers from the classroom via text message and even ‘vet’ them to make sure they are suitable for the job.

And gone are the days when young adults left school and started work straight away. Brown sure has seen to that! Arty farty courses are the norm and manufacturing has all but been shipped abroad

But when you allow families from other countries that have lesser values (and in some cases are less civilised) settle here, then boy had you better expect trouble.

Gordon Brown’s labour Government has created this mess and Conservative’s David Cameron looks set to carry on with his ‘good’ work.

Looking in today’s paper, the first thing I saw was the story of a 16 year old girl fighting for her life after being shot in the neck. A young man went to the pizza shop where she was having a meal with her five friends, opened fire, missed the target and rode off... ON HIS MOUNTAIN BIKE!

Forty five minutes later a 20 year old man was stabbed to death outside a pub. This was a separate incident, but even so, both attacks were in London.

The story of the 17 year old that killed his baby daughter by ‘shaking her’ came next. He has no remorse and claims he did nothing wrong. He received a two-and-a-half year sentence.

Gordon brown’s Britain is a mess. He has forced mass immigration upon us, turned our children into mini Hitler’s and sold us out to Europe. Diseases virtually wiped out, such as TB, have made a comeback; MRSA and CDiff are killing the patients that foreign non-English speaking doctors have managed to miss. Incidentally, some 3,500 NHS workers have been found to be illegal immigrants...

I could go on and on but you have heard it all already.

To top it off, the final article made my stomach churn. Why? Because Labour’s indoctrination of our children is paying off when it comes to fulfilling their dream of a multicultural Eutopia.

According to the Mail’s medical correspondent, Jenny Hope, ‘Brits believe that mixed-raced people are the most attractive and successful’...

Wake up people and vote for a brighter future.

Amber Valley BNP's Michael Clarke challenges the opposition

The first week of campaigning by the Establishment Parties has seen them waging a phoney war, constantly bitching and cat fighting about secondary issues such as National Insurance contributions and tax breaks for their respective target audiences, whilst ignoring the nation changing issues that should be the prime subjects in a General Election.

Our canvassing returns expose the disillusionment with the LibLabCon among the general public, and the fact that there is only a ‘glossing over’ of issues such as mass immigration and our continued membership of the European Union. Add on the SLEAZE FACTOR and the pathetic attempts ‘to clean up Westminster’ and one can begin to see why fears of the lowest voter turnout ever may become reality.

That is why I am today issuing the following two challenges to the other candidates in Amber Valley.

CHALLENGE 1:         To show that I am not ‘in it for the money’ I pledge, that if elected, I will give 10% of my Parliamentary Salary to local good causes. I challenge The Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat candidates to do the same.

CHALLENGE 2:         I challenge the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat candidates to a PUBLIC DEBATE on the nation changing issues that are, and will be, affecting the lives of every Amber Valley constituent.

Lets not have any nonsense about a ‘no platform’ policy for the BNP, the real issues that this election should be about must be addressed and not swept under the carpet. For my part I am willing to forego my own hesitance to share a platform with a former member of the Communist Party.

Michael Clarke
British National Party Candidate for Amber Valley

MASS IMMIGRATION IS A DISASTER AND LABOUR IS TO BLAME

THROUGHOUT his time in office Gordon Brown has rightly become notorious for his dishonesty but, in his lengthening catalogue of deceit, no utterance has been more grossly misleading than his 2007 vow to promote “British jobs for British workers”.
His pose as the champion of the British people has always been an outrageous fraud. Now the full extent of Brown’s lie has been exposed by new official figures showing how badly home-grown employment has suffered from mass immigration. According to the Office of National Statistics, almost every single new vacancy in the economy since 1997 has effectively gone to a foreigner, with immigrants having filled an incredible 98.5 per cent of the 1.67million new jobs during the last 13 years of Labour rule.

Over the same period the number of British-born  workers employed in the private sector has actually fallen, down by over 700,000 from 18.4million in 1997 to 17.7million today.  So a jobs boom for migrants has meant bust for ordinary Britons. No other major  country in the Western world has allowed its economy to be so grotesquely distorted by a never-ending flood of new arrivals. What the Government has done is not create jobs but simply import workers from overseas on an epic scale. The Labour Party was founded at the beginning of the 20th century to represent the interests of the British working-class.

Behind its cynical slogans Brown’s Labour Party now actively operates against British  workers in favour of foreigners. The socialist obsession with mass immigration amounts to a cruel betrayal of the British people. It is a bitter irony, given Brown’s pretence of caring about the poor, that the only real gainers from this vast influx are the affluent, such as the trendy metropolitan elitists rejoicing in the low costs of Polish plumbers or ukrainian nannies. But there have been no genuine benefits for working- class Britons. Job security has worsened. Employment oppor- tunities have been restricted, wages driven down.

Labour persistently claims that mass immigration is the route to economic prosperity but the opposite is true. The annual rate of arrivals has been running at more than 500,000 in recent years, just at a time when Britain has endured the deepest recession since the Thirties. It is the economics of the madhouse to import millions of foreigners when more than five million Britons are without jobs and on benefits.

We could cut the welfare bill and boost taxation if we put our own people back to work and slashed immigration. More- over, the reliance on overseas labour makes a nonsense of the Government’s  remorseless expansion of higher education. Over 40 per cent of all young people now go to university yet employers complain more vociferously than ever about skill shortages, hence their eagerness to recruit migrants.

The wider consequences of mass immigration have been disastrous. With 5.4million foreigners having settled here since 1997 and probably another one million living  illegally Britain has become one of the most overcrowded places in the Western world. Public  services are at  breaking point in many areas. The annual  welfare bill has rocketed to almost £200billion, not least because, contrary to fashionable Left-wing mythology about “lazy” Britons, migrants are more likely to be benefits claimants. It is the infamous laxity of our social security system rather than the jobs market that has been one of the biggest attractions for foreigners.

Mass immigration has brought us violent crime and gang warfare, social dislocation and domestic terrorism. The state-enforced dogma of multi-cultural diversity has worsened divisions by emphasising what divides us rather than encouraging integration. We live in a fractured land where Sharia courts now operate informally and the burka is commonly worn on our streets. Our heritage is traduced or ignored.

When UK passports are dished out at the rate of 200,000 a year the once-proud concept of British citizenship has long since lost its meaning. But that is the way Labour wants it. The socialist Government, filled with loathing for our national identity, has used mass immigration as a battering ram to destroy the traditional structure of Britain. The economic arguments used by Labour  politicians to justify their policy of open borders were always just a smokescreen.

All the hollow claims about jobs and growth hid the feverish Left- wing determination to create “a new social order”, in the immortal words of Harriet Harman. One of Tony Blair’s aides, Andrew Neather, admitted that Labour’s enthusiasm for mass immigration was not based on economics but on the desire “to rub the right’s nose in diversity”.

To treat the British people in this way is a disgrace. The transformation of our society is one of the great scandals of the Labour years, as undemocratic as it is cynical. Fortunately at this election there is a realistic alternative to Labour’s cata- strophic strategy. The Tories have promised to introduce a strict annual limit on immigration, returning the influx to the levels of the Eighties.

In an almost laughable response, Gordon Brown has said that this Conservative pol- icy will cause “great damage to British businesses”. As this week’s immigration statistics show, the real damage has already been done by Labour.

Leo McKinstry

Footnote: Conservative would cap the annual limit on migrants from OUTSIDE the EU, which really won't make that much difference to the numbers. It's just another con to get you to vote for them.

Amber Valley BNP meeting

We had a very interesting Amber Valley BNP meeting last night.

After the excellent speaker, Mr K, came discussion time. We heard what is going on in Amber Valley and discussed the next stage of our campaign.

Labour and Conservative are in disarray, Lib Dem are a nonentity and very shortly I will be delivering some very good news - for the BNP.

A lot of feathers are going to be ruffled but I can't tell you just yet...

Not sure who to vote for? Vote Match can help

I came across a nice little tool today over on UKTabloid and thought that those of you not sure whch way to vote may find it useful.

Vote Match, run by Unlock Democracy but led by an advisary board chaired by the former Head of the Electoral Commission, Sam Younger, is designed to help you determine your voting preference.

All parties that have at least one sitting MP or MEP, any member of a devolved Assembly or Parliament or independent MPs who are intending to restand, were sent a long list of questions and asked to provide their own responses. The only party to refuse was the Labour Party. No surprise there then!

Here's what you have to do:

Start by clicking HERE
1) Answer the statements by clicking on agree, disagree, open-minded or skip (if you want to ignore the statement entirely).
2) Select which areas of policy matter the most to you - and which ones matter the least.
3) Select which parties you would be prepared to vote for (at least three).
4) The results screen will reveal which party you agree with most, and other parties will follow in descending order. You can look at the responses from each party in more detail by clicking on their name.

No prizes for guessing which party I was matched with...

Whites to Blame for Black Business Failure - David Camerom

Tory leader David Cameron has blamed whites for black business failures and has promised to start a blacks-only taxpayer-funded national mentoring programme to give financial priority to Afro-Caribbeans over white British people.

Mr Cameron’s shocking display of anti-white racism appeared in an article published today in the far left, extremist Guardian newspaper, titled “We’ll change black Britain.”

In the article, Mr Cameron trotted out all the usual third-rate Marxist claptrap arguments which blame white people for all ills affecting the black community.

According to Mr Cameron, Britain’s black community are “denied” the chance to “escape poverty and build a better life for themselves and their family.”

The reason for this “denial” is, according to Mr Cameron, a “failure to address racial inequality” — in other words, white people’s fault.

Mr Cameron then listed all the problems supposedly caused by evil white people. According to the Tory leader, these problems include:

“Black pupils are permanently excluded from school at more than twice the rate of white pupils.

“Of the 3,000 students who started at Oxford in 2008, only five are black Caribbean in origin.

“This inequality extends to the job market too, with recent research showing almost half of young black people are unemployed, well over twice the rate for young white people,” he said.

If elected, Mr Cameron promised even more affirmative action measures than those already implemented by the Labour Party.

“We’ll introduce concerted action to overcome the racial barriers that exist in Britain today,” Mr Cameron said, and went on to say that a Tory government will institute a “radical plan” which will “include funding for a national mentoring programme for black people who want to start a business.”

Mr Cameron added that the special Tory fund would “provide black entrepreneurs with the targeted support, advice — and, crucially, role models — they need to access finance and work for themselves.”

Finally, Mr Cameron said that his party would provide “role models” which will “inspire a new generation of black people to take on the world.”

The British National Party utterly rejects the Tory (and Labour) obsession with blaming white people for everything that goes wrong in every other community.

The BNP is completely opposed to special set-asides, affirmative action and any policy which puts the interests of the British people last.

Britain's Islamic Republic Part 2/5

Don't let politicians bully you, Lord Carey warns Christians

Former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey today accused politicians of trying to bully Christianity out of public life.

He complained of a 'strident and bullying campaign' to marginalise Christianity in the name of political correctness.

Lord Carey said: 'We have reached the point where politicians are mocked for merely expressing their faith.

'I cannot imagine any politician expressing concern that Britain should remain a Christian country. That reticence is a scandal and a disgrace to our history.'

The powerful intervention from the retired Archbishop, who stepped down from Lambeth Palace in 2002, comes in the wake of strongly-expressed criticism of state attempts to sideline Christianity from other senior prelates.

Last month Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu said that Christianity was being pushed out of public life in a 'ferocious and insidious' manner.

Lord Carey has spoken out strongly on a number of controversial matters since his retirement in a way he avoided while serving as the Anglican primate. In particular, he has backed limits to immigration, criticised Islamic theology, and attacked the 'anything goes' philosophy that has led judges to constrain public debate about the bad behaviour of celebrities for the sake of their privacy.

He told a meeting in the House of Lords: 'Christianity, which has given so much to our country, is now being sidelined as never before as though it is a stranger to our nation.'

Lord Carey told Christians to stand up for their faith and to be more assertive when their heritage is attacked.

'If we behave like doormats, don't be surprised if we are treated as though we are,' he said. 'It is time to return to the public square.'

Lord Carey echoed Dr Sentamu's concerns that the rights of Christian schools to teach the basis of their faith is being stripped away.

'This bullying campaign seeks to ban faith schools, despite evidence that faith schools perform better than many others.'

He added: 'It is clear that we must stand up against the marginalising of faith.

'We must constantly remind society of its Christian roots and heritage.'

Lord Carey was addressing a conference run by the Christian Broadcasting Council which highlighted cases of individuals picked on for their Christian faith.

They included teacher Olive Jones who lost her job last year after offering to pray for a 14-year-old cancer patient with whom she was working, and Caroline Petrie, a Somerset nurse suspended for offering to pray for a patient but then reinstated by NHS bosses following a public outcry.

Speakers also cited Gary McFarlane, a Relate counsellor who lost his job after he declined to offer sex therapy to a gay couple.

Olave Snelling, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Council, said: 'We have the duty of telling the stories of those suffering persecution for their faith overseas and now, it seems, in Great Britain also.

'Pressure is building against Christians in what was once a Christian land.'

Secret Labour plan to increase immigration said public's opposition was 'racist'

Ministers were accused today of drawing up secret plans to increase immigration - and branding opponents of the controversial scheme 'racist'.

A previously unseen joint Cabinet Office and Home Office report called for increases in foreign workers to meet the Government's 'economic and social objectives'. But it also stated that the public would be opposed to the shift because of 'racism' and urged ministers to try to alter public attitudes towards immigrants.

The document, which was written in July 2000 and released under the Freedom of Information Act, outlined plans for a step change in the number of both high and low skilled migrants. A draft version of the report emerged last week, but the full copy was finally released today.
In it, the authors warned: 'Policy development is constrained by public opinion and the current tone of public debate.'

'It is correct that public opinion favours relatively restrictive policies on immigration.'
Sections advising ministers to adopt a 'clear strategy for public opinion and public debate' to change views were removed from the published version.

Critics said the document showed ministers 'deliberately rode roughshod' over the public.
There was outrage last year after Andrew Neather, a former Labour speechwriter, revealed in a newspaper column that the loosening of controls in the early 2000s was part of a deliberate political agenda.

The 'immigration boom' of the last decade was engineered in part to change society by making it more multicultural, he said.

Mr Neather, who worked for Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett and saw the early versions of the report, said senior politicians were nervous about publicising the policy because they feared public reaction.

The report states baldly that public opposition to immigration was 'closely correlated with racism'. Exposing the public to migrants would make them less hostile, it said. 'A new approach to migration policy ... would need to be not only accompanied by, but underpinned by, a clear strategy for public opinion and public debate.

'Government has tended to assume that negative public opinion on migration is a given that is beyond its control. In fact, research (and common sense) suggests that past governments have had a significant influence on public opinion...' On other issues, government has been strategic and proactive in addressing public opinion, it could do so on migration.

Andrew Neather revealed in a newspaper column that the loosening of controls in the early 2000s was part of a deliberate political agenda

'Recent research shows that anti-immigrant sentiment is closely correlated with racism rather than economic motives,' the authors wrote.

'Education and people's personal exposure to migrants make them less likely to be anti-migrant. The most negative attitudes are found among those who have relatively little direct contact with migrants, but see them as a threat.'

The report said immigration was rising sharply because of global economic forces but said it was all but pointless trying to prevent large numbers of new arrivals coming for work. It stated: 'Trying to halt or reverse market driven migration will be very difficult (perhaps impossible) and economically damaging.' Trying to stop low skilled workers was 'neither an available nor a desirable policy choice' because of 'market forces'.

The report went through numerous drafts during late 2000. One version was entitled Going with the Flow: Managing Migration in the 21st Century. But by the time it was published in early 2001, the document had become a bland endorsement of the economic benefits of immigration. Entire sections were removed, including all references to public opposition.

Instead it said: 'Social research shows that the majority consistently regards immigration as having a positive effect on British culture. This is true even for many of those who favour a more restrictive attitude to immigration controls.'

References to migration opening up 'new opportunities' for organised crime were also expunged.

The final report stated: 'There is little data specifically for migrants on such indexes of social exclusion as ... crime.'

Justice Secretary Jack Straw, who was Home Secretary from 1997 until 2001, has dismissed Mr Neather's claims, saying they were 'just untrue'.

A fortnight ago current Home Secretary Alan Johnson said the suggestion of an open door immigration policy was 'mythical'. But Sir Andrew Green, chairman of pressure group Migrationwatch UK, said: 'This report confirms that ministers deliberately rode roughshod over public opinion in adopting a policy of mass immigration.

'They concealed their real intentions in the hope that they would benefit from the immigrant vote without losing their working class supporters.

'They are now paying the price.'

Shadow home secretary Chris Grayling said: 'The Government has simply not been telling the truth about its policies on immigration. More and more evidence is now emerging to show that they deliberately planned a big jump in immigration for their own political purposes. Now they are trying to rewrite history to pretend those decisions never happened. Their conduct over all of this has been a complete disgrace.'

General Election Candidate – Amber Valley British National Party

Michael Clarke

Local activist Michael Clarke has been selected as our Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the forthcoming General Election.

Michael is 53 years old, married to wife Jane for 30 years and has 3 children and one grandchild. He has spent most of his working life as a Furniture Designer and Upholsterer, winning nine national awards for his sofa designs.

Michael says:
“I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to promote our common sense policies. I will be campaigning on the nation changing issues that the other parties fear to address. Mass Immigration, the European Union and the loss of our Christian heritage will be my priorities, along with the illegal war in Afghanistan, a better deal for our pensioners and crime.

We are now the third party in Amber Valley, having beaten the Lib Dems in both the Euro and County elections in June, and we are closing fast on the Tories and Labour. To win the seat will be a monumental task but if we work hard and keep to our strategy I genuinely believe it is possible.

Our last two MPs have been outsiders who have put Amber Valley second to their own political careers. Being born and bred in the heart of the constituency, Amber Valley means more to me than just a meal ticket and I will be fighting for the good of the area to my utmost ability.”

It's time the communist, Judy mallaber, was sent packing. Good luck Michael. We are behind you all the way.
