BNP Stall in Liverpool Attacked by Labour-Aligned Thugs but BNP Activists Arrested

British National Party supporters have been asked to urgently phone the Liverpool police station and complain about the KGB-style tactics employed by police over the weekend in arresting three party activists (including a middle-aged lady) after seven Labour-aligned thugs violently attacked a party stall.

“The numbers to call are 0151 777 4852, which is the St Anne’s Street police station where the lady, Hazel, is being held, and 0151 709 6010, which is the main Liverpool police station number,” said Mike Whitby, Liverpool organiser.

Mr Whitby said the astonishing turn of events, which “made one realise we are living under a KGB-style regime,” started on Saturday morning when he and three other BNP activists manned a stall in the city collecting signatures for the ‘bring our boys home’ campaign.

“I left briefly to go and book a meeting venue, leaving the two men, Peter and Andrew Tierney, and Hazel to continue collecting signatures,” Mr Whitby said.

“While I was gone, a crowd of Labour/UAF-aligned thugs approached the table and began jostling and threatening the activists,” he continued.

“The police, who were standing nearby, were asked to intervene, but refused to do anything. Then the thugs violently attacked the table, smashing it and assaulting Peter, who was thrown to the ground and beaten.

“Hazel, who is a petite woman, attempted to ward off the attack with her shopping bag, but the thugs completely destroyed the table,” Mr Whitby said.

“Faced with the overt violence, the police were forced to act, and chased the thugs, arresting six of them. They were calling us all sorts of names, mostly the usual meaningless epithets, and in response I called them ‘communist paedophiles.’

“To my astonishment, the police then also arrested me for using those words, and I was detained for ten hours at the police station.

“Eventually they released me without even taking my name or charging me with anything, and I went home,” Mr Whitby said.

“To our astonishment, the police then arrested Peter, Andrew and Hazel this morning (Monday) and have now detained them at different police stations around Liverpool,” he continued.

“Hazel is the sole carer for her severely disabled partner, and it is an outrage that she and the other two men have been arrested after they were attacked.

“We need as many people as possible to call the police straightaway and complain about this gross miscarriage of justice. The police are acting way beyond any normal call of duty and have clearly taken on a political role, akin to the KGB,” Mr Whitby said.

Further updates will follow as they become available.

Scottish left-wing scum attack BNP

Following on from yesterday’s article, I thought you would like to see how the BNP are treated in Labour/Con/Lib Britain.

The following is a report from BNP Scotland’s website...

Saturday 18th September saw a team from Glasgow and a team from the Lothians join together to campaign in Glasgow city in support of our 'bring our troops home' petition campaign.

The team set up at the top of Buchannan street and put out many leaflets, sold a number of voice of freedoms and gained a number of signatures. Many supportive comments were gained and a host of discussions about other policies were enjoyed. A local Muslim lady even took time to vent her disgust at the lab/lib/con's war effort in her home country and praised the BNP for speaking out on the matter.

After a friendly and positive start to the day the team then moved to the iconic George Sq were again a number of leaflets were put out and the team took time to pose for tourists.

After George Sq the team moved to the south end of Buchannan street. A number of leaflets were handed out and a number of signatures gained. After about 30 mins a group of unemployed students appeared talking on phones, a short while later many more scruffy looking fellows joined them then the following happened.......

<---- Instigator

The Battle of Buchannan street

The team of 7 brave activists were surrounded by a mob of 100 - 200 hate filled yobs. The stall was destroyed and thrown at a youngster! 2 members were assaulted (kicked and punched) and spat on. The mob continued to destroy party literature and litter it across the street. When police arrived the crowd even vented their hatred towards them. The brave team stood their ground until the police gained control of the situation. As this was going on a few members of public joined ranks with the team and were in turn attacked.

Scotland BNP would like to thank Strathclyde police for their swift action and will fully assist in any further investigation.

Today was an example of the left's contempt for freedom of speech and democracy. The left claim that the BNP are fascists yet they use fascist mob tactics against the BNP. The team in Glasgow was campaigning to end the bloodshed in Afghanistan and bring our brave boys and girls home safe and not in boxes. Scotland BNP fully believes in letting the Muslim world govern Muslim countries and not allowing a British government to force our troops to govern it for them.

In the coming days a HD movie will be available, in the mean time 2 rough videos can be seen here: HERE and HERE

This is what our brave activists had to face today.

Glasgow BNP will not quit and Lothians BNP will not quit. fidelitas pro fidelitas.

This is what The Green Arrow has to say:

The Youth Wing of the Scottish Socialist's Party are bragging on their youth site (notice how they brag that 'Anti-democracy COMMUNIST FASCIST REDS set about the BNP') that they "bravely" managed to destroy and steal other peoples property. They describe their criminal actions on Saturday in Glasgow as being Direct Action. I describe those actions as political terrorism.

Anti-fascists from across the city quickly mobilised, and by 1.30 there was a small gathering around the stall, preventing the BNP from engaging with the public. Ten minutes later, a larger group of anti-fascist arrived. Within seconds, the stall was smashed up and the BNP material was scattered and destroyed. The 5-6 BNP members were forced to stand beside the ruins of their stall waiting for the police to show up, which they did – about 15 minutes later. After a humiliating half hour of being chanted at by a now large group of passers-by and anti-fascists, the BNP were driven away in a police van for their own safety. A total victory for anti-fascists and, judging from the response from the public, a reaffirmation that Glasgow will not stand for the bigotry and racism of the BNP. This was the first BNP activity in the city centre for almost a year, and apparently the ‘launch of their new campaign’. We don’t think they’ll be back any time soon.

So then what can we do to bring the young thugs and thieves "proudly" displaying the proceeds of their violent attack on British Patriots to justice? First off, what can we learn from the image that they have displayed.

Well they appear to be brainwashed kids by the look of them. The usual signs of a marxist brainwashing are present. There is the Irish Tri-Colour showing their support for the marxist IRA. On the other wall, there is is the Flag of the country that never was, Palestine.(Please watch this video - you will really learn something).

The fact that they have covered their faces reveals that they do not wish to be identified and brought to justice for their actions but being young they just have to "brag" about how brave they were in being part of a 200 mob of communists attacking just 7 British Patriots exercising their legal rights to protest about the illegal war that is getting more and more of our young men and women killed.

The room itself appears to be that of a students room and on another wall is the girls name Nicola. Is one of the little girls in the image named Nicola or is that name on the wall, the name of the young thief's current girlfriend?

Anyhow, if you have any information that would lead to the arrest of those people and the recovery of the stolen property then please let us know. I have been assured that the BNP in Glasgow are already back in action.

You can read a full report with video links on the excellent BNP Scotland website. Proud of you Scotland.

BNP's Peter Tierney sentenced to 100 community hours

Liverpool BNP's Peter Tierney, who was found guilty of assault and causing actual bodily harm to an 'anti'-fascist protestor on St Georges Day last year, has been sentenced to 100 hours community service.

Although the jury watched CCTV footage showing Mr Tierney defending himself, they were unanimous in their decision. The judge gave the lowest sentence possible for the 'crime'.

EDL Dudley demo - Saturday 3rd April 2010

Video by TheSaxonKing
Before people start screaming 'racist/nazi/fascist' let's take a look who the REAL racist/nazi/fascists are...
That's right... UAF!
Just out of interest, did you know that out of 132 arrests, only 10 were EDL. Two of those were allowed back into the protest without any charge and a further three were removed by police as infiltrators at the EDL's request.

'Anti'-fascist protesters arrested in droves as EDL attend Bolton demo

Dozens of people have been arrested during rival demonstrations by the English Defence League and opponents in Bolton.

Police said 45 people had been taken into custody during the political protests in the town centre.

Hundreds of officers struggled to keep apart the chanting crowds, who were separated by a 30ft wide barrier in Victoria Square.

Greater Manchester Police said the majority of those arrested were in a group of anti-EDL protestors, who began their protest earlier in the day just before 11am.

Some of the protestors, who included members of trade unions, local mosques and the Unite Against Fascism movement, had earlier tried to enter an area designated for the EDL to gather in and were forced back by a wall of police.

The bulk of EDL supporters – who had assembled at separate sites - were escorted to the south side of the square at 1pm under heavy police escort.

Many wore English Defence League hoodies and face masks and carried the St George’s flag and the US star and stripes along with a number of political banners.

Police on horseback and specialist dog handlers were used to control the crowd on both sides.

The protest reached a dramatic peak at 3pm – four hours into the event – when a number of bottles and cans were thrown by both sides.

Dozens of officers with riot shields began to move EDL supporters from the square after some protestors lifted up metal barriers separating the two groups.

Police reported 2,000 EDL supporters at the protest and 1,500 from opposing groups.
MEN

Among those arrested were UAF joint secretary Weymann Bennett, who organised the protest, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit violent disorder, and Martin Smith, who runs the Love Music Hate Racism campaign.

Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan, who is leading the operation for Greater Manchester Police (GMP), said: "Today in Bolton we have seen groups of people, predominantly associated with the UAF, engaging in violent confrontation.

“It is clear to me that a large number have attended with the sole intention of committing disorder and their actions have been wholly unacceptable. Turning their anger onto police officers they acted with, at times, extreme violence and their actions led to injuries to police officers, protesters and members of the public.

“The police are not and should not be the target of such violence and anger and this protest and the actions of some of the protesters is roundly condemned by GMP and by Bolton Council.

“Were it not for the professionalism and bravery of police officers many others would have been seriously injured."

Police will now review CCTV of the incident to identify people involved in inciting or committing disorder.

Police hope BNP festival moves away from Denby village

DERBYSHIRE police say they hope the British National Party will confirm an alternative venue for its annual Red, White and Blue festival.

Speaking after a meeting last night, Superintendent Howard Veigas said the event, held for the past three years in Denby, led to "the same community suffering year after year" from the upheaval it brings to local residents.

Supt Veigas said: "The police do not feel it is a suitable location for the festival.

"We have great concerns that it is such an imposition and a huge disruption to the local community.

"But if it has to come back we will have to take on the organisation."

His comments came after BNP councillor Lewis Allsebrook told the meeting at Denby Church of England School, in Church Street, that the party was looking at "two or three alternative locations" for the event.

Mr Allsebrook, who represents Heanor West on Amber Valley Borough Council, reiterated that the party may move its festival away from Derbyshire.

He said: "The BNP is looking at alternative sites. The decision would be made at a central level.

"We came here to listen to what everyone has had to say and we are going to take on board their views."

Around 20 villagers turned up at last night's meeting.

Almost all praised the police for the way they handled this year's event, which saw 18 people arrested – four supporters of the BNP and 14 protesters. One man, who did not wish to be named, said: "It was a fantastic job by the police. I felt very secure knowing they were there."

Another resident told the meeting: "I think the police response was absolutely excellent in the way they handled the different interest groups."

Villagers at the meeting, which was organised by the police to seek residents' views on the way the force handled the event, were shown video footage taken from a police helicopter.

It showed demonstrators, marshalled by officers and police on horseback, as they marched down Heanor Road to a designated protest point on Codnor-Denby Lane.

Police formed a cordon but were pushed back twice as the protesters shoved their way through.

Chief Superintendent Garry Sherwood, Commander for the Constabulary's A Division, which covers Amber Valley, told the meeting: "It reminded me of when I started policing more than 20 years ago – a thin blue line with arms linked."

EDL protest - Leeds, October 31st

uaf scum

Hundreds of anti-fascism protesters gathered in a city centre today to demonstrate against a planned protest by a far right-wing group.

Minor scuffles broke out between police and protesters as around 400 Unite Against Fascism activists descended on Leeds to challenge a march by the English Defence League.

The English Defence League was protesting about a number of other marches organised by British Islamic extremists.

As the two sides gathered in Leeds hundreds of officers, including a mounted section, were drafted in to keep them apart.

A police helicopter circled above while activists from Unite Against Fascism shouted slogans.

Demonstrators carried placards and banners and shouted 'Fascist scum off our streets'.

Scuffles broke out as police officers linked arms and moved rival groups of protesters away from each other.

There were minor flashpoints throughout the afternoon as the respective groups tried to break out from their restricted areas and confront each other, as early Christmas shoppers looked on.

At one point a missile was thrown (by uaf) and supporters spat at each other as they managed to get within a relatively short distance of each other.

A red flare (uaf again) lit by one of the protesters was grabbed by a police officer who managed to put it out.

One protester was grabbed by officers and dragged towards a nearby police van.

Several streets in the city were closed as the demonstrations took place.

Five people (uaf) were arrested for public order offences.

Later, in nearby City Square around 300 supporters from the English Defence League gathered amid a large police presence.

Activists sang England songs and God Save The Queen in the Square which was cordoned off by barriers and police officers.

Meanwhile in London, a planned march organised by radical Islamic extremists calling for sharia law to be imposed in the UK was called off amid security fears.

Anjem Choudary, leader of the radical Islamic sect Al Muhajiroun, said organisers Islam4UK had been forced to cancel the planned march from the Houses of Parliament to Trafalgar Square because of security concerns.

Derbyshire Police ask public's views on policing of Red, White and Blue festival

The police officer who was in charge of policing the protest against the BNP's Red, White and Blue festival in August is holding a public meeting for local residents.

Chief Superintendent Garry Sherwood, Commander for Derbyshire Constabulary's 'A' Division, which covers Amber Valley, Erewash and parts of Bolsover district council areas, is holding a public meeting for the residents of Codnor and Denby.

The meeting will be held on Monday November 2 at the Denby C of E School on Church Street, Denby and will begin at 6.30pm.

Ch Supt Sherwood said: "I want people to have the opportunity to tell us what they thought about the policing of the BNP event and the protest against it.

"The Chief Constable Mick Creedon held a public meeting beforehand and we are keen to know if there are any lessons we can learn to improve they way we deal with similar matters in the future."

Anyone wishing to attend, to ask questions or to share any concerns about any future events, should contact police on 0345 123 33 33 to register.

The hall holds a maximum of 75 people so there will be a limit on the number who can attend.
