Hundreds of people line the streets whatever the weather, to pay their respects to our fallen heroes and give their families the support they so desperately need.
Our government, not our boys and girls, decides where our soldiers go to fight and this is why I am sickened by the news I came across today.
Anjem Choudary, leader of islam4uk, the platform for the banned extremist group al-Muhajiroun, has announced plans of a march through Wooton Bassett.
A spokesman for Wiltshire police said it ‘respected the right to peaceful protest but would deal with any breach of the law appropriately’.
To organise a march in Wootten Bassett is, in my eyes, incitement to racial hatred and should not be allowed to take place. It will be seen by many as a march against our dead and the people who turn out in support of them.
While this is going on, gormless gordon broon is to hold a summit to stop Yemen being a breeding ground for terrorists.
What about holding a summit to stop them breeding here in the UK, gordon?
