2011 Census

Today started the same as every other day for me – get up, clean up, hang out the washing, take the dogs out, shower, start work – but this morning was different.

As I was showering I heard a rather large thud. Dashing downstairs to see what it was I saw a lone, large, purple and white envelope dominating the floor of the hallway.

So, it was finally here; the 2011 Census Pack.

On opening it, the first thing that struck me, apart from the official government stamp, was the bar code with its accompanying sixteen digit number, broken up into four sets of four, just as you see on a credit card. On every other page another ten digit barcode stamps its authority.

Is that to be tattooed on the back of my neck or will it be imprinted on the chip they plan to implant in me?

The second was the threat of a £1,000 fine if I don’t complete this ‘compulsory’ form.

On inspection, the form contained 42 questions some of which were very intrusive and, in my opinion, not necessary.

The 43rd question informs you there are no more questions. Duh!

They include the usual questions such as who lives at the address, their ages, whether you are working or not and what type of work you do.

Of course with the promotion and rise of the gay community, they are now included in the questionnaire, with questions asking if they are ‘registered as in a same-sex civil partnership’, or ‘separated but still legally living in same-sex civil partnership’. Eh?

I found ever more odd questions, such as ‘where were you living a year ago’, ‘were you actively looking for work in the past four weeks’ and ‘are your day-to-day activities limited because of a health problem or disability’.

This is not just a Census in the normal term of a Census, the form also reads like a dole office questionnaire.

I have to say it is a strange one.

And why is question 17 ‘intentionally left blank’? DUH!

Will I be filling in this form?

Of course not.

SUE ME!

Reports are that this will be the final Census. I wonder why?

That chip is drawing closer and closer; welcome to George Orwell’s ‘1984’

If, like me, you are not willing to fill in the form, you can have a bit of fun with the doorstep stasi with the following appointment request which I found on the internet a few weeks ago...

Armed Forces Day Events To Honour Military

The country is preparing to demonstrate its support for the military on the second annual Armed Forces Day.

Events will centre on Cardiff where the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will lead a ceremony which is expected to draw a 50,000 strong crowd.

Some 350 other events will also be taking place across the country.

"As a nation, we have a duty to support our Armed Forces for all they do for us," defence secretary Liam Fox said.

"Members of the Armed Forces, both past and present, have made great sacrifices in the name of our country but these men and women do not ask for sympathy, they ask for your support."

The national event in the Welsh capital includes a parade, a church service, an RAF flypast and celebrity endorsements from David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Katherine Jenkins and Graham Norton.

It also marks the end of a particularly difficult week in Afghanistan. Since Sunday, eight British troops have died. In all, more than 300 have now died.

Politicians and military commanders are aware that the casualties and images from the weekly repatriation ceremonies influence public opinion.

Major-General Gordon Messenger, the military spokesman on Afghanistan, hopes events like Armed Forces Day help to balance opinion.

"If I had a plea, I think it would be to better understand the reasons why they're there and the progress that's being made and to not simply view Afghanistan through the lens of the casualties," he told Sky News.

"I think it is incumbent on me and on everyone who has an understanding of the Afghan campaign to do all we can to better inform the public as to those reasons."
On Thursday, hundreds of Territorial Army reserves wore their military uniforms to work as part of the Armed Forces Day events.

One of them was Corporal Stuart White, a soldier in 7 Rifles and a refuse collector from Reading, Berkshire.

"I think it's good. If it raises awareness and support then I am all for it," he said.

"Obviously there can be a bit of downside because not everyone agrees with what's going on. But on the whole I think it's good, anything to raise awareness for the troops and get support for them."

Corporal White's civilian boss is waste operations manager Chris Green, whose son was killed in Afghanistan in March. He supports Armed Forces Day but also supports the war.

"I'll quote my son on that. He was home on R&R just before he was killed," said Mr Green.

"He had three or four friends die out there. He was right next to them. He told me that if we pull out now, then it's basically dishonouring their memory. So that's how he felt about it. Nothing to do with politics, its all about the men."

English Channel to be rebranded as' the Anglo-French Pond'

The English Channel is to be wiped off the map and replaced with the name ‘the Anglo-French Pond’ under plans by Brussels to bolster the notion of an EU superstate.

A new map to be distributed to schools and bureaucrats will downgrade the English Channel dividing Britain and France and rebrand it at a cost of £1.1million.

British taxpayers will pick up the bill for the revamped atlas, which creates new EU regions and wipes out 1000 years of history.

The rebranding is meant to foster ‘cultural identification within this transfrontier region’.

Britain is parcelled off to different parts of the continent under the Espace Manche Development Initiative, which phases out national boundaries to foster greater EU integration.

Southern England, from Cornwall to Kent, is joined with northern France and becomes known as the TransManche zone. Its capital is Paris and it has its own socialist president, Alain Le Vern.

The West of Britain is parcelled off with parts of France, Spain and Portugal as part of a new Atlantic region.
Eastern Britain along with Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway becomes the North Sea region. And Scotland breaks away from Britain to become part of the Northern Periphery with parts of Norway, Greenland, Iceland and Finland.

Choudary's letter to our dead heroes families

The news seems to be dominated by muslims these days.

Every single day they are in the news whether it be here in the UK or abroad.

Here in England it is usually the vile anjem choudary spouting his mouth off and today is no different.

Not content with threatening a march in Wootton Bassett against our fallen soldiers, he has now written an open letter to the families of our fallen advising them to turn to islam.

I was going to provide a link to the letter but apparently I no longer have permission to enter the site. Maybe it's busy, after all, his ugly mug is splashed all over the news and people are curious.

Oh well, never mind, it just so happens I have a copy...

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon those who follow the guidance.

Following the public announcement of an impending procession by islam4uk (a branch of Al-Muhajiroun) through the Market Town of Wootton Basset we thought it only appropriate that we provide an explanation and a little more about the purpose behind the procession, especially to the family and friends of those who have died there and who may have been led to believe that it is merely an act of incitement or provocation.

We begin by inviting all non-Muslims to Islam, the perfect and most beautiful way of life, a favour from Allah (God) to mankind to take him out of the darkness of worshipping his own desires to the exclusive worship, submission and obedience of Allah alone, without partners and to testify the Messenger-ship of the final Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We urge you to embrace Islam and save yourselves and your family from the hellfire and not to believe the lies and distortions which the Western media and non-Islamic regimes would have you believe about Muslims and their true intentions. Islam means submission and the Muslim is the one who submits to the will of God in his life. Verily the Messenger Muhammad told us that whoever heard his name from the Jews and Christians and did not believe would be held accountable for that on the day of judgement.

We start by pointing out what many wise people already know i.e. that the British public have once again been lied to by their politicians about the war in Afghanistan. What began as a fight for freedom and democracy and to protect the human rights of the civilians and to find Sheikh Usama Bin Laden (by the use of B52 bombers) has today become a campaign to protect the security of the British public back home and it has gone from being a campaign which could be completed without firing a weapon within 3 years to one which could go on for 40 or 50 years with a heavy cost to the participants.

In actual fact the foreign policy of the USA and UK is not about protecting the rights of Muslims or propagating democracy and freedom nor is it about the threat posed by the people in Afghanistan to the British public at all, but rather it is to establish their own military, economic, strategic and ideological interests in the region. The rich resources of Afghanistan, its position on the cusp between the Indian sub-continent, Southern Russian, Asia and China and its populations call for the Shari'ah are the real reasons why the military has sought to establish a permanent role there, no matter what the cost to the lives and wealth of the indigenous people or indeed their own. Pivotal in this is the desire to prevent Muslims from running their own affairs and establishing an Islamic State if they so wish but rather to maintain a puppet in the area (Mr Karzia) to maintain and protect Western interests.

In order to create an atmosphere where these greedy objectives can be accomplished the Western and even Eastern media have constantly shown atrocities being committed against the ordinary people of Afghanistan and Pakistan, in markets, universities and public gathering places and have then blamed these on the perceived enemy, in order to discredit any legitimate struggle for liberation and in order to demonise them in the eyes of the world and thereby justify the occupation and real intentions. The truth about such bloodshed and mayhem is only now becoming public knowledge after information about the real perpetrators has emerged (such as the CIA related agency Black Water). The billions of dollars paid to the Pakistan regime by the USA/UK alliance and to the Secret services in Pakistan, their army and to the Karzai Afghan regime by way of bribes has led them to slaughter their own citizens with the help of the USA/UK and to then blame the Taliban in an attempt to subdue those seeking liberation to fulfil their right to run their lives by divine law and to protect the US/UK military and economic interests. With additional atrocities being committed by the USA and UK through indiscriminate air raids and other operations the number of ordinary Muslim men, women and children who have been killed has reached horrendous proportions. Not to mention the torture and abuse of basic rights by the occupiers in Afghanistan, such as in Bagram Air Base, the case of Dr Affia Siddiqui being a clear and brutal example.

There is no doubt in most people's minds that the final conclusion to the current conflict in Afghanistan has already been written. Ultimate victory for those fighting in their own backyard, familiar with the mountains and plains and their supporters who struggle to protect their sanctities from the foreign aggressors cannot be denied. The signs for this are already appearing with incohesive thinking among the British and American chain of command, the crippling effect of the war on their economies back home and the depression of the soldiers realising that there is no real moral or ethic reason for them to murder innocent men, women and children to fulfil their politicians agenda. Blaming a lack of equipment is one of the ways in which politicians have tried to shift the focus. It is noteworthy that unlike among the US and UK soldiers, there has not been one reported suicide or attempted suicide among those resisting occupation.

As a consequence this can only mean much more destruction for the USA and UK sons and daughters sent by their uncaring leaders to their deaths. After all this would not be the first time that this region has acted as a grave yard for empires in history, notably the British and Russians.

It is worth reminding those who are still not blinded by the media propaganda that Afghanistan is not a British Town near Wootton Basset but rather Muslim land which no one has the right to occupy, with a Muslim population who do not deserve their innocent men, women and children to be killed for political mileage and for the greedy interests of the oppressive US and UK regimes.

The procession in Wootton Basset is therefore an attempt to engage the British publics minds on the real reasons why their soldiers are returning home in body bags and the real cost of the war. The conflict in Afghanistan is not an ‘honourable' defence of British values and a cause for the British to remain secure, rather the presence of the US and UK forces in Afghanistan is the cause of instability in the region and a cause of insecurity for the British people back home. The parades, the speeches about soldiers doing their duty and the feeling of patriotism has obfuscated the reality of the conflict and the murderous crimes being committed by the occupiers and their agents. The British public is blissfully unaware of what is being done in their name by the Blair/Brown regimes and were the truth known no doubt the pressure to withdraw all troops immediately would be much greater.

It is our desire to end the cycle of violence and the quagmire in which we find ourselves in today in Afghanistan. For the British public to do their duty and force their regime to save their children from death and destruction, from an oppressive and costly campaign and to stop the occupation of Muslim land. We realise that, especially in times of war, we are up against a very sophisticated propaganda machine and no doubt raising awareness about the painful truth of this conflict will unleash a torrent of abuse from the media and government against us, who have their own predetermined agenda, however the world is today also small enough for those wishing to verify the truth to be able to do so via the many news and information outlets.

Drug smuggler executed

Akmal Shaikh

I have been watching with interest the story of Akmal Shaikh, the Pakistani who smuggled 4,030 grammes of heroin into China.

Four kilos of heroin; that’s enough to cause 26,800 deaths.

This morning, Akmal was executed by lethal injection and buried immediately.

According to his family, and of course all the newspapers, Shaikh was bipolar and therefore not responsible for his actions.

If you are bipolar you suffer bouts of depression followed by bouts of elation, with normality in between. You are fully aware of your actions and this I why I support China’s decision to carry out the execution.

I would like to know if Shaikh gave the names of those who asked him to carry these drugs. If he didn’t, it proves he knew exactly what he was doing and it is one more reason for his sentence to be carried out.

According to the Chinese embassy in London, Shaikh had ‘no previous medical record’ of mental illness and that his rights and interests had been properly respected.

Davivd Milliband, the British Foreign Secretary said: ‘The UK is completely opposed to the use of the death penalty in all circumstances’

I’m sorry to tell you this, David, but you do not speak for the whole of the UK and you certainly don’t speak for me.

One look at the comments in today’s newspapers prove that. This morning’s poll showed that 63% agreed with China’s decision.

As usual, our Government can’t keep their nose out of other countries business; gormless Gordon is appalled at the outcome and leads condemnation of the execution ‘in the strongest terms‘.

Jiang Yu, the Chinese Foreign minister said:

‘Britain’s robust response risked souring diplomatic relations. No one has the right to comment on china’s judicial sovereignty.

It is the common wish of people around the world to strike against the crime of drug trafficking and we express our strong dissatisfaction and opposition to the British Governments unreasonable criticism of the case.

We urge the British to correct their mistake in order to avid harming China-UK relations.’

When are our ‘leaders’ going to learn that we have no right to tell other countries what to do?

And what was Pakistan’s stance in all this? After all, Shaikh was Pakistani, not, as the newspapers say, British.

The following is a comment from the Daily Mail which I think sums it up nicely:

Being a recovering addict I know only too well what people are prepared to do to acquire this pernicious drug. I fully understand that I am in the position I am in now as a result of my own misguided actions. Along the way I have lost a lot of friends and credibility. Thankfully my family and some friends have stood by me, (despite abusing this support on numerous occasions). I have now been clean for two and a half years and still everyday is a struggle. Now with regard to Akmal Shaikh. As a sufferer of bi-polar disorder myself, I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. He deserves to reap what he has sown and at least the 4kg of heroin was kept off the streets and hopefully some people may have been spared a lifetime of addiction and crime as a result of not being introduced to Heroin. Finally, I am also concerned that through first hand experience a lot of the drugs in this country are supplied from a certain section of the community who believe the majority are morally devoid. - Dean, Blackburn, 28/12/2009 14:27

Swine flu vaccination update

Video by

Just over a week ago, I had to visit my doctor. As I sat waiting I couldn't help but notice the steady flow of people coming in for their swine flu jab. As soon as one had checked in, another one entered the surgery.

They were ticked off the list, given a leaflet and told to sit in the queue down the hall. After the jab they were to sit for ten minutes to make sure they were ok before they left.

A woman and her daughter came and sat next to me and I asked her if I could take a look at the leaflet.

NOWHERE on that leaflet did it mention any side effects. The woman said her daughter had to return for a second jab.

I was supposed to have that jab, but I declined. My doctor mentioned it and I said I would rather take my chances. Upon asking him if he was having it, his reply was 'no', but he didn't elaborate.

It tells you something if your own doctor won't take it, doesn't it?

My mother had her jab last week. I asked her to think carefully about it and presented her with a few facts. The next day I received a phone call from my father telling me not to mention it again as I had scared her. He said they 'didn't want to know'.

That, I said, is your problem. You don't want to know about anything, you never question anything.

I noticed in today's paper that over in Northern ireland, children are no longer receiving a double dose.

Children aged between six months and 10 years who do not suffer from underlying health problems will now be given one vaccine dose instead of two.

It is understood there has been a higher rate of fever in young children following a second injection.

The Department of Health sent a letter to GPs outlining the change almost two weeks ago.

However younger patients who have a weaker immune system and are susceptible to viral infections will continue to be given two doses of the vaccine.

Previously, a warning that the swine flu vaccine has been linked to a deadly nerve disease was sent by the UK Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, was leaked, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.

It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the vaccine. GBS attacks the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.

The letter refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:

  • More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu
  • The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times
  • The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear
  • The U.S. Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected

Concerns have already been raised that the new vaccine has not been sufficiently tested and that the effects, especially on children, are unknown.

This is what Dr Mercola has to say:

In the U.K. the hysteria over swine flu led to flu drugs being offered online, without a doctor’s prescription. This is incomprehensible, considering their risk. Just a couple of weeks ago I reported on brand new study findings that the swine flu drug of choice, Tamiflu, caused one or more side effects in OVER HALF of all children who received it!

Side effects included:

  • Nausea – 29 percent

  • Stomach pain or cramps – 20 percent

  • Neuropsychiatric side effects including inability to think clearly, nightmares, and “strange behavior” – nearly 20 percent

  • Sleep problems – 12 percent

The British Medical Association’s lead expert on swine flu went on the record stating that Tamiflu is now being overused.

Keep in mind that, although the swine flu has spread across the world it appears to have decreased in severity. The vast majority of cases are very mild, requiring only a few days in bed.

In fact, the regular seasonal flu is still far worse, and more deadly, than the swine flu.

The intended effect of a vaccination is to help you build immunity to a potentially harmful organism. However, your body’s immune system is already designed to do this in response to organisms that invade your body naturally.

Most disease-causing organisms enter your body through the mucous membranes of your nose, mouth, pulmonary system or your digestive tract. These mucous membranes have their own immune system, called the IgA immune system, which fights off invading organisms at the point of entry, reducing or even eliminating the need for activation of your body’s immune system.

A vaccination, however, delivers either live or attenuated (dead) viruses directly into your tissues and blood stream through injection, completely bypassing your body’s first line of defense. And when combined with an immune adjuvant, your body’s immune system kicks into high gear in response to the vaccination. If your immune system is too weak to deal with the assault, severe side effects can occur.

Injecting organisms into your body to provoke immunity is contrary to nature, and vaccination carries enormous potential to do serious damage to your health.

To emphasize this point further, when ingested, the vaccine adjuvant squalene is actually recognized by your immune system as an oil molecule native to your body. It has antioxidant properties and is found throughout your nervous system and brain.

The difference between “good” and “bad” squalene is the route by which it enters your body. Injection is an abnormal route of entry which incites your immune system to attack all the squalene in your body, not just the vaccine adjuvant.

As a result, your immune system will attempt to destroy the molecule wherever it finds it, including in places where it occurs naturally, and where it is vital to the health of your nervous system.

For more information about squalene, and the hazards it poses when included in flu shots, please review my recent special report on the topic, if you have not already done so.

Please watch the video at the end of Dr Mercola's article, in which the advers effects of the vaccine are discussed, which can be found HERE

1 in 10 living in Britain are foreign nationals

The number of immigrants living in Britain has almost doubled in less than three decades, official figures show.

More than 10 per cent of the population - 6.7million - were born abroad, the Office for National Statistics has found.

The analysis shows that the count of those born abroad - now agreed to be the best figure for measuring the rate of immigration - is two million higher than it was just eight years ago.

And the figure is nearly double the 3.38million people born abroad who were recorded as living in Britain in 1981.

The scale of immigration over the past few years was set out in a breakdown by National Statistician Jil Matheson, the recently-appointed head of the Government's Office for National Statistics.

She said that there are 689,000 migrants from Eastern Europe in Britain, an increase of 522,000 since Poland and seven other Eastern European countries joined the EU in 2004.

But these make up only one in ten of the foreign-born population of the country, Miss Matheson found.

She also endorsed the ONS projections that say that the UK population will hit the politically sensitive 70million mark in 2029.

She added the recession is likely to have only a small impact on the record levels of immigration since 2001.

The ONS report found that Eastern Europeans have begun to emigrate as well as to arrive in Britain, and overall 20,000 more Eastern Europeans came to this country than left it in 2008.

Current research, Miss Matheson added, suggests that 'a short-term period of falling immigration can be expected, before immigration levels rise again to pre-recession levels'.

She concluded: 'The current recession is likely to have a small and temporary effect on net migration.'

Her findings run counter to assurances from Gordon Brown and Immigration Minister Phil Woolas that the new Home Office points-based immigration system will curb numbers coming into the country and the 70million population mark will never be reached.

Sir Andrew Green, of the Migrationwatch think-tank, said: 'This report confirms the massive impact of immigration on our population under the present Government.

'It must be brought under control, but so far Government policies are completely inadequate for the purpose.'

However, Border and Immigration Minister Phil Woolas said: 'These population projections do not take into account the impact of future government policies or those Eastern Europeans who came here, contributed, and are now going home.

'Projections are uncertain. For instance in the 1960s they said our population would reach 76million by the year 2000, this was off target by 16million.'

He added: 'And let's be clear the category "foreign-born mothers" includes British people born overseas - such as children whose parents are in the armed forces or those who come to Britain at a very early age.'

Previous research counted the number of foreign passport holders, but with many being granted British citizenship counting those who are foreign born is now thought to give the most accurate figure.

The findings on the scale of immigration follow evidence that the arrival of large numbers of migrant workers has pushed down wages and living standards for low-paid workers.

A report last week by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation charity found that the poorest-paid working families have been getting poorer and suffering greater unemployment not since the onset of recession, but from 2004 onwards during a time of economic boom.

Blair's think tank airbrushed link between crime and immigrants

Possible links between mass immigration and some crimes were censored from a keynote government report, the Standard can reveal.

The report originally contained passages highlighting the risk that organised criminals had exploited higher migration.

But they were taken out of the published version, a milestone study that shifted Labour policy towards encouraging economic migrants.

Published by the Home Office in 2001, the 80-page report - Migration, A Social and Economic Analysis - has been criticised for painting too a rosy picture of the impact of immigration. The draft shown to the Evening Standard reveals it went through several changes that removed paragraphs that could have been seized upon by critics.

The most striking was the removal of the section headed "Criminal behaviour", written as part of a chapter on the impact of migration.

It is understood that the passage on crime was removed because Downing Street was "nervous" that critics including extremists could seize on such candid remarks.

Another section cut proposed a cross-government "communications strategy on migration" to promote a more positive attitude among members of the public and to rebut media myths.

Moreover, in the draft it was asserted that Britain's record towards Jews fleeing Hitler's Nazi regime was "positively shameful in some respects". It also said racism towards black migrants in past years had come "not just from extremists or working class communities, but from politicians and policy-makers at the highest level".

Both comments were airbrushed from the published version. Damian Green, the Conservative immigration spokesman, said the disclosures showed a "disgraceful" attempt to massage the findings of the report.

"With every day that passes it becomes increasingly clear that the Government tried to deceive the British people about immigration policy," he said. "This is a disgraceful episode."

The report has already been at the centre of a row this week after claims that officials involved in the review of immigration policy seemed to be motivated by party political considerations. It was written by members the PIU think tank set up by Tony Blair under the lead of Jonathan Portes, 44, now the senior economic adviser at the Cabinet Office.

The missing section warned: "Migration has opened up new opportunities for organised crime." However, it said migrants were not more likely to be criminals, despite foreign nationals forming a higher proportion of the prison population than of the general population. The disparity, it stressed, was almost entirely caused by foreign visitors held for drugs smuggling at ports and airports, and nothing to do with settled migrants.

It reported: "There is emerging evidence that the circumstances in which asylum seekers are living is leading to criminal offences, including fights and begging."

A Cabinet Office spokesman denied that any political pressure was brought to bear on Mr Portes and his team.

"Objectivity and impartiality have always been core values of the civil service," he said.

Passages that were missing from the report

Criminal Behaviour

There are three ways in which migrant criminality may differ from that of the general population:

* The international criminal who travels across borders to pursue criminal activity, for whom screening at ports of entry is increasingly the focus of international cooperation between police forces to detect on entry.

* Organised crime identified with a particular migrant group, including commercial fraud and trafficking in drugs, in illegal migrants and in women — also the focus of attention by police and immigration staff.

* Crime associated with conditions of migration and reception, including recovery of debts by migrant-smugglers, marriage rackets, breaches of immigration control and crime associated with the migrant's circumstances (lack of work, hostel living conditions).

* Taken from Preliminary Report on Migration, 11 July 2000, written by officials in Tony Blair's Performance and Innovation Unit. This section was omitted from the public version of the report, Migration, A Social and Economic Analysis, published by the Cabinet Office in 2001.

UK population will be 70 million by 2024

Around 180,000 immigrants will arrive in this country every year, the Office of National Statistics (ONS) said.

The surge in immigration will mean that in less than 25 years the UK's population will increase by 10 million to more than 71 million in 2033 - the fastest rise since the post-war baby boom.

Every year 425,000 more people will be living in the UK, the equivalent of a city the size of Bristol.

Records showed the last time the numbers living in the UK increased at such a rate was the 25 years between 1942 and 1967.

Prior to that similar sized increases had not been seen since the Industrial Revolution.

When the immigrant baby boom is taken into account, migration will account for two thirds of population growth, the figures predicted.

Iraq sends back UK asylum flight

The following was forwarded to me from an ex-army friend of mine. Please read the comments after the initial report.

Iraq sends back UK asylum flight

Iraqi asylum seekers sent back to Baghdad by the UK government have been refused re-entry to their homeland, and flown back to Britain. The flight, carrying about 40 asylum seekers, landed in Baghdad on Thursday.

Human rights group Refugee and Migrant Justice said this was "unprecedented".
The Home Office said it was working with the Iraqi government to iron out issues that caused some to be returned.

The reason for their return, it said, was a matter for the Iraqi authorities.
It is understood that about 80 escorts were also aboard the government-chartered flight.

The asylum seekers are now at Brook House detention centre near Gatwick airport where they are being given legal advice, according to a Refugee and Migrant Justice spokeswoman.

She said: "One would have expected with such a high profile remove, the Home Office would have sorted this out with the Iraqi authorities.

"For such a high profile group to be returned is unprecedented."

She added that the reason for the Iraqi authorities turning away some of the group was unclear, but suggested it may have been that certain documents were not in order.

The government's plan to send the group back to Baghdad, where just this week at least eight were killed in attacks on a market in north-west Baghdad, met with criticism from human rights group.

There have been no returns to Iraq since 2008 and this would have been the first return to the capital city since the start of the Iraq war in 2003.

Political and sectarian violence has diminished in Iraq since 2005-07 levels, but lawlessness remains a problem, and there has been a recent spike in violent incidents.

Enforced route

Lin Homer, chief executive of the UK Border Agency, said: "We are establishing a new route to southern IraqBaghdad area. This is an important first step for us.

"We are working closely with the Iraq government to iron out the issues which lead to some of the returnees being sent back, and expect to carry out another flight in the future.

"Having an enforced route for returns is an important part of our overall approach; however the government prefers the majority of returnees to leave voluntarily."

She said more than 2,500 people have chosen to return to Iraq under the Assisted Voluntary Return Programme in the past three years and that was expected to continue.

The Home Office said it has no estimates of the current number of failed Iraqi asylum seekers in the UK, but about 1,000 had returned to northern Iraq last year, either through enforced deportation or voluntarily.

"We are establishing a new route to southern Iraq and have successfully returned 10 Iraqis to the Baghdad area"

Wow! Really???? 10.....?????

Fuck me............ its totally worth the £3 Billion pound budget, £8 million pounds of which is for "Advertising" (WTF are they advertising????) and the £10.5 million pounds worth of expenses (which includes: £4.6 million on hotels, £3.2 million on train tickets, £730K on taxis, £300K on hospitality)

The chief inspector of the "border agency" takes £3 million of that budget for her office and her 25 staff members alone. Worth it? Oh, totally...........

And did anybody else notice there were twice as many "escorts" on the flight as there were asylum seekers???? I suppose they had to fill the empty seats somehow. I mean, you wouldn't expect them to simply send back three times a many asylum seekers for the same money, would you???? Where's the sense in that????

Anyone else thinking the whole Border Agency is just an expensive fart in a hurricane?

And remember folks............this is the same bunch of cunts we laughingly refer to as a government, who have just suspended ALL training of the TA to save money, and are about to get rid of the BFPO system cos it costs too much money, and closed all the military hospitals, for the same reason, which puts a wounded soldier just back from Afghanistan in the same ward at Selly Oak as a dozen immigrants who are indistinguishable from the twats who blew off his legs or blinded him.

The same bunch of tossers who put two Portacabins with second hand gym equipment outside Edinburgh General and call it a Regional Rehabilitation Centre for all the Scottish soldiers who have lost limbs in Iraq and Afghanistan.

That puts wounded TA soldiers back into the NHS system, to queue up alongside every other fucker. And takes incapacitated soldiers from the Iraq war to the High Court to try and get their compensation reduced.

God, but I'm proud to be British...................... this country is SO worth fighting for.
